  • Straight forward install and great durability
I just installed these this afternoon in my 93 Ranger extended cab. My truck is a 4wd unit with the biggest drive train offered. The truck is nearly 30 years old and the original springs were nearly resting on the bump stops. These springs gave the front end new life and completely revamped the driving experience. It did not totally level my Ranger, another inch probably would have done it but over all pulling the shock and dropping the sway bar end link made it so the old spring pretty much fell out and a little kiss with a prybar knocked the new one right in. Pretty straight forward install and they settled in nicely. Overall very happy with them, glad I bought them. ... show more

  • Awesome upgrade ~ 2” & smooth
Pretty easy install. Added closer to 2” to the front of my 92 Ranger 4x4. The difference in ride quality is also drastic. Best $120 replacement out there

  • Zero lift/level with these springs
I was hoping to get at least 1” of lift after installing the springs. 1994 Ranger 2wd base model and the springs are the exact same length as the own that I removed. I was hoping they were a stiffer spring but I only gained about 1/2” of most at best. Of course I can’t take them off and return so I’m down $120 and no better off than before. As others have said lower your expectations with these. But the 4” lift kit cause these are terrible. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
I have a 1988 Ranger Supercab 2WD with an LS-based V8 engine and A/C that came from the factory as a 4cyl without A/C. After the engine swap it sagged quite low in the front and desperately needed new springs. After reading some of the the negative reviews here, I decided to be smart and I ordered a two inch lift kit at the same time that I ordered these springs. Unfortunately, I discovered that my brake lines wouldn't accommodate the lift kit AND the springs, so I only installed the springs. To my surprise, the springs alone gave me just the right amount of lift, and the ride quality was noticeably improved. The springs are the exact same height as my old ones, but they are thicker. ... show more

  • 95 ranger 2wd
I just threw the driver side on to get rid of the driver side lean when I realized it only gave it about 3/4 an inch of lift but it worked out fine. Same length as the stock spring but stiffer? Saw a video on a 4x4 from the same generation and these springs were longer so I bet they would do your 4x4 ranger justice. Get 2 inch springs or blocks for your 2wd if you want it actually leveled ... show more

  • Leveled my truck up great.
I'm running 31x 10.50. on my truck and they rubbed the fender guards just a little. So I bought these springs at a very good price. Good quality also. It leveled my truck up great. No more rubbing. Even off roading. Thanks Amazon and Rough country. Just what I needed for my 4x4.

  • 1.5” never mattered more !
Followed install off YouTube, took 4 hours a and broke a shock mounting stud. Buy the deep socket for $9 is a must for the spring nut. My 93’ spring isolator seats were toast so I have to install the new ones someday along with new shock absorber stud, replace radius arm bushing set and shocks when I’m tinkering with these again. Of course my camber is toast so that will take a new set of adjustment bushings plus an alignment when I get close to putting new tires on. I also made homemade tear lead spring blocks that are 1 1/2 out of plastic decking 2x4 instead of using stock metal 2 1/2” factory blocks. Cannot stand a truck that isn’t level, they’re an abomination imo ... show more
