There is no pen better than the Rotring Tikki Graphic. The ink is quite dark, dries fast, and is completely waterproof. If you are a pen and ink artist, this is the pen for you. Rotring is still a standard I use when sketching or drawing with pen. They are remarkably well engineered and fun to use. I bought this pen to replace my rapidograph sketch pen since I can't find a replacement tip after the ink dried inside rendering unusable. So far this current pen has smooth ink transfer which I've come to know and love from rOtring, making my sketches jump onto paper without having to shake the ink into the point. .3 mm is a bit thicker than I'm used to ( I love really thin lines as fine as .2 mm), but it's bold enough to see even a dim room what I'm drawing. I love Rotring products in general. I ordered a package of 12 of these from Amazon Warehouse for a great price. Writes smooth and is great for sketching if you like big lines. It does seep through thinner pages but I use it mostly for writing and it flows smoothly and does not get caught on the page fibers like some do. It seems marginally thicker than the .5mm size in the technical pens. Having said that, when I use it to draw I use a thinner one for outline and this to do most of the fill-in. It fills in evenly, easily and smoothly and does not have a sheen like some other inks do. All in all a win! ... show more

Great pen. When I make fast strokes it doesn't fade like other pens. well worth the quality. UPDATE. its been many months now and I'm even more impressed by it. My handwriting has improved significantly since using it. 100% worth the money.
