Lets face it, these are cheaply made boots, but you buy what you can afford. I've been wearing combat, jungle, desert, and jump boots most of my life. These are about on par with most of the issue boots, so I don't expect they will last much longer than issue do under severe use. I do a lot of camping and hiking, so these will give me the support that I need. I always order a half size bigger so that I can add gel insoles to make them comfortable for all day wear for a few days at a time. In most cases, in this style of boots, the soles actually break before they wear out. Even with this flaw, they are better than most of the high end designer military style boots that I've tried as they give proper ankle support and have excellent traction over harsh terrain. If I get a year out of them, I'm pretty happy. I got to wear them this weekend for a good full day. I put in a set of Dr Scholls gell insoles and started beating feet. Boots started off a little tight, as they should but quickly stretched to fit my feet pretty well. They never got hot and sweaty, didn't feel like I had any hotspots rubbing on me, and held with some really good ankle support over some very rocky terrain. Very good boots! I upgraded my rating to 5 stars. Price, value, fit, support and comfort! UPDATE! I've had these boots now for, daily wear, almost 8 months. The soles are starting to wear out and it's time to order another set. I expected the soles to break before wearing out so I'm very happy. The boot laces did break on me a little over a month ago but I replaced them with Paracord and have not had a problem since.

The boot is slightly different color than expected, not a milky white but rather a beige/linen color. It really just looks like a washed out version of the boot in the picture. no complaints. You can see a more accurate picture of the boots at Nid De Guepes. Look at the item listed as cargo pants, the model is wearing the boots in that picture. This picture is a more accurate representation of the color of the boots than the listing on amazon. Nid de Guepes also sells these boots, but for triple the price. However, if you look at the actual listing for these rothco boots on their site, the color will look more washed out than they are in person. Use the picture of the model for cargo pants as a color reference, look at the listing for the boots on their website if you want to see how they look from more angles, but with slight color distortion. I typically wear a size 11-11.5, and i got a size 10, which I am very happy with. Wear them with thick socks though, because the top of the shoe inbetween the laces and the toe (the edge of the suede) kills my feet if I don't wear extra thick socks. With the exception of this issue, I have found the boots to be quite comfortable. l have only worn them for a few days, but they have broken in rather nicely already. I would give them another week before they reach peak comfort. I am a student; I do not typically do large amounts of work like thise who serve in the military. These boots will most likely last me several months, and even longer with glue, since the only issue i have seen of on here is the sole splitting. The boot is quality, it compliments the price nicely. I have attatched an image of the boots with quality lighting.

These are low-cost boots that fit great right out of the box. On one boot, an eyelet fell out almost the first day and the soles seem to wear somewhat quickly, but I wear these boots every day and they are very comfortable and fairly durable in most ways. If you want a nice pair of tan combat boots without paying a fortune, you can't go wrong with these. I highly recommend them unless you are doing rough duty and need something a little more durable. *****Update I just ordered my second pair of these after getting a year out of the previous pair. As always, they fit perfectly out of the box and I was able to wear them without any break-in. I don't know how these would hold up in the field, but for everyday wear, it's hard to beat the quality of these for the price.

Love! Simple yet stylish. I’m a size 6.5-7 in women’s shoes and got size 4R. Fits good, a bit too loose around heel area, but with thicker socks will be just fine. Right shoe feels a little awkward on sides but I think it just needs some breaking in. Wish they had more colors!

The size runs a bit large, so I would cautiously recommend ordering one size down, depending on your foot shape and fit preference. Other than that, everything about them is great. I walk at least 20 miles a day I wanted some cheap boots to last me a month or so these worked for 1 month so I got what I needed out of them these are cheap boots after the 1st month the botto m of the sole detached from the left boot and it costs more than the boots price to repair the boot. if you want a nice hiking or work boot DO NOT BUY THESE , if u just want a cool looking boot for occasional wear, they might be right for you. I ripped the rubber bottom off the right boot and use them as slippers now they are pretty comfortable

Tried to post pic Amazon fix your app, second off amazing boots I love them they look even better than the photos as The Weeknd would say. There on the big size and wide set shoes if you wear a 6 in women’s get a 3 I got a four so I have to wear thick vanz socks with them if you want more space just remember there wide get a four. Awesome boots though better than I expected first ever shoe purchase online to thank you.

These are the only desert boots I could wear when I was in the Army (Airborne Infantry). No other style fit. These are heavier then the oringinals. Unlike those these are stiff out of the box. They are breaking in ok but not as soft and flexible as the originals. The only real downside is the Vibram soles. Vibram has good designs but these are the original design from many years ago and they suck. They are good for garrison but the tread lugs are so close together they pack up quick with snow, ice, mud, or dirt. They don't self clean at all. We use to take a hot knife and cut some of them out to open the tread up. Overall the boots are 9.5/10. If tthat changes I will update. Here is the update: These boots are horrible do not buy! Is this the Chinese made version? I have 380 miles on them. The layering of the sole material is starting to separate in several sopts. An eyelet has popped off and what is wrong with the leather? I put them on and tie them and within 10 minutes I need to retie them? I use 550 paracord on my boots, always have. The ones I used in the Army lasted 4 times as long each. I use these as I would have in the military. I am not rating them as some buyers who "mow their yards" while using them. These are a huge disapointment.
