So many reviews say "the shirt runs large, so get a size smaller than you would normally wear." I was skeptical, but went with it and ordered a small. I'm 5' 10" and 156 lbs. Small was WAY too small. I have wide shoulders, so it was too small in the shoulders and length of arms. I gave it to friend who is thinner and an inch shorter than me and it was too small for him too. Same kind of fit problem I had. I bought the medium and it fits well, but just barely. It'll do though. Other than that, I really like it. Seems well made. Good color, lot's of "loop" Velcro on the sleeves, zippered pockets on both sleeves are nice and the zippers themselves seem pretty decent. Nice, light weight fabric overall (rip stop in sleeves & shoulders) will make this a good warm weather shirt. With a size or two larger, you could wear a layer under it for cool weather. Bottom line. With my body type, as stated above, 5' 10", 156 lbs. 37" waist, 37.5" chest, 44" shoulders, the medium fits well, but just barely. No room to gain weight or wear an extra layer underneath. I hope a more detailed description of fit per body type helps you order the correct size the first time.

I ordered a medium due to other reviews stating they run big. Although it fits okay, I think a large(my normal size) would have been better. The sleeves are slightly short. I wasn't too impressed with the chest/torso portion of the shirt. It is pretty thin. For $40 I was expecting a little heavier weight of cotton. The extra padding in the elbow is a nice touch, making shooting from the prone and off rough benches very comfortable while shouldering large bore rifles.

Maybe I just had high expectations from Rothco, but I was not pleased with this shirt. I didn't even get to use it before the seam was already pulling apart in the arm pit. The shirt looks great, but that's about it. The heavier sleeves will probably hold up fairly well, but if you plan on putting this through any kind of use, save yourself the time and put a few extra bucks into your combat shirt to get something better. I tried to save a few bucks, but ended up returning it. I spend $15 more and got a Tru-Spec and it seems to be nicer so far. My friend has had a Tru-Spec for a while now and hasn't had any problems. If you're looking to save a few bucks, it's not a HORRIBLE option. Just don't expect too much out of it. A product is only as good as its weakest point.

Go smaller on the size. I'm 5'10, 150 lb, and I wear a men's medium. The shirt is a bit big, so I advise that if you wear a large, go medium, medium, go small, etc. other than that, great quality, looks good, and it pretty comfortable...

Sleeves are about 2 inches too short. Called customer service for Rothco to ask if I could get a different sleeve length and they acted as if they could care less. They stated it was the same sleeve length across the board, pretty much. I ordered the medium and large... had the same issue with both shirts. The quality of the product seems good but the 2 stars reflect how concerned or willing to help the customer service reps were.

very well constructed shirt, i purchased the woodland digital camo shirt, the camo looks lighter in the picture then on the actual shirt, nice zippered pockets on each arm for space to velcro patches, nice fitted collar. i heard people complain about the sleeves, about how rough they are....they're supposed to be, its pretty much ACU combat jacket sleeves on a shirt to be more rugged, overall im very satisfied with this purchase
