I purchased this in 2021 and wore it almost daily for 3 years with the sapphire and an additional small pendent on the chain. The sapphire was very dark and cloudy but was still pretty. After 3 years of near daily wear, sometimes sleeping in it, tugging, and other mayhem the clasp did finally break. It was definitely more durable than expected for the price. The sapphire I received really disappointed and upset me. The gem had scratches in it and a crack right through it. I called Ross Simons customer service and they did want to do much to help me.
