It’s hard to find pretty bras that are 42DD. This is really cute, and it even fits properly in the center (It should be flat in between your boobs) It doesn’t super-squeeze them together, it has a supportive, comfortable fit. I will be buying another one of these in a different color. (I also purchased a black bodysuit that has a few buttons at the top, and this bra looks great underneath with two buttons undone.)

When I bought this bra, it was a favorite. I'm large busted and they don't "sit where they sould" anymore. So I got this balconette style to have support without padding. And in that respect it is a favorite bra of all time. HOWEVER... the band size I am normally was WAY TOO SMALL, I had to sew on piecemeal other hooks to extend it to shre it felt comfortable for me. THEN it worked great for about 18 mo. then the wire poked through, you ladies know there's no saving it relly. Time to shop for another and limp along the one you got til you find it. So to conclude... support is great, the cups aren't "in your neck" and you can still wear lower cut shirts without showing, flattering, band sizing they have terrible so check the guide first, and will probably last less then 2 yrs. I really wanted to love this. But it is so poorly made. For larger cup sizes (34E) the back strap should not be so thin. This might work for a B cup, though. It is cute. But the material is not comfortable enough to be an everyday bra.

After reading the reviews I went up another band size. I'm a 42" under bust and 50" full bust. I bought a 46C. While I have an 8" difference from under bust to full bust, my chest is very wide. I'm 5'7 and 230# with my weight distribution fairly even throughout. I normally buy a 44C in minimizer bras and 44B in regular bras like this one. Everyone said the band was small and the cups ran small. They Do Not. I didn't need the extra in band sizes at all. I always buy 44 from my 42 because I hate tight things around my back, it always works. With the 46 it fits but on the tightest hook and eyes and feels a little too loose. A 44 would have been just fine. The style is terrific and I love that. It's pretty rough lace but it's not uncomfortable rough. It would soften in the wash I'm sure. 🤔

I ordered a 36G which is my normal size and the bust fits perfectly for US sizing but the band... the tag they sent said 80G which I thought was weird but hey, that's close to 36 inches... right? Wrong. That's closer to a 32. I thought it was a little tight when I first put it on worried that I'd gained weight since I last bought bras and maybe I should've ordered a 38G but it wasn't bad... Just a little tight. Yeah, should've just said no to that one but instead I washed it, put it on and went out for the day and oh lord, it was uncomfortable, I was adjusting and trying to get it to not feel like it was cutting into my sides but it's just bad, now I get to go buy a bra extender and pray that will fix my issues so I can enjoy this bra. Only getting 2 stars because it looks fabulous and it made well but why in God's name would they even bother offering things at US sizing if they can't convert it to deliver things that actually meet our sizing selections.
