I am a licensed interior designer, I frequently make my decor among other things. My daughter had her heart set on these particular drapes,. The color length and bit of sheen was what she wanted. I was not expecting much for this price, Ill be honest. These are really beautiful. The fabric is soft, the color was exact, they are well made and she's already hung them up! I will add a pic after I steam them, they are wrinkled from being folded, which is normal. I'm ordering another 2 sets to complete her room. These are mid weight, they are more decorative than light blocking or insulating. They will do a bit of both, imo.They move beautifully and look much more expensive than they are. ... show more

Definitely not blackout like the name suggests. Also, one set has ruffles on the top, the other doesn’t so more light gets through. Good heavy fabric quality though, and didn’t come super wrinkly. Love the color. These are too heavy for a tension curtain rod by themselves btw, I used the sticky pad rod holders to keep them from sliding down. ... show more

Absolutely gorgeous and great quality. I was surprised how durable and thick these were considering their reasonable price point. I love the velvet feel. They help retain heat in a couple closet areas in my old building. I did not buy them for that purpose but it was definitely an added bonus. Easy to install and the curtain rod pocket is a great size whether you’re using a very thick curtain rod or a slim one. I do not use these in a room with much light so I can’t speak on light blocking but I would imagine they would do a fine job since they are so thick. ... show more
