    • Poor Designed Mounting System
First, wood has no weight to it, it almost feels like balsa wood. Second, mounting design requires you to put bottom screws in after you have mounted wall bracket. This means you must have plenty of clearance for your tools to put in bottom screws. Do not recommend this product for a beginner.

    • Super cheap. You get what you don't pay for cheap quality.
So the actual shelves are not wood or particle board more like foam. You know those white foam travel coolers from a liquor store, the material is exactly like a lid to one of those painted with wood grains. I am sure I could hang it up. It weighs like foam weighs, nada, like an oz. It's not even particle board. It is a throw away easily damaged material. I loved the color, like similar color to acacia cutting boards. They are also not very long. It is impractical for me. It was pretty shocking like is this a joke. I purchased a wok from someone else, pretty much the lid was a very similar material.     • Very attractive and quality brackets add to the sturdiness of these shelves.
I like the look of the rustic oak color. I bought the shelves as a decor item in my bathroom but they also store jars and items that are used daily. Very sturdy brackets that add to durability. No problem with installation!

    • Not what I expected
I'm not really sure why I expected these to be super flimsy or light but they aren't. They are very well made and the finish is really pretty. I haven't had a chance to put it up yet so I can't vouch for the installation but I'm happy.

These floating shelves look quite nice when assembled. However, you should know that the shelves are made of very light wood and and not designed to hold much weight. They are mostly useful for holding small items. We use them in the bathroom to hold small items, for which the shelves work quite well. ... show more

    • Looks nice but a bit on the cheap side
The quality of these shelves is a bit on the cheap side but it does hold a lot of weight! So I guess it’s actually not a bad thing because it makes screwing it together and install much easier. It looks nice, just as pictured. And like I said, it holds a lot of weight. It looks like it will fall off the wall at any second but surprisingly it’s been holding just fine! Lol I do think these are more worth like 5 bucks each from 5below but $25 still isn’t that much for wall shelves so I can’t complain too much.
