When I first received and unpacked my new shaker, I noticed that the chrome finish on the cap had some black marks on it that wouldn't rub off. Upon closer inspection, it looked almost as if the chrome had not bonded well to the surface and flaked off. This was only a cosmetic issue, since it was on the outside of the cap, but I responded to the seller's email asking if I was satisfied with my new shaker set anyway. In my email I noted the issue with the finish, and included a picture showing what it looked like. Within a couple of hours, Gio from SAVANTSYS (the seller) responded, indicating this must have been a manufacturing defect, and offering to fix my issue by replacing the defective item. I was given instructions on how to go about ordering the replacement, and I had a new shaker within days. I was extremely happy with this seller's customer service and willingness to make sure I was satisfied. Regarding the shaker set, it is a very nice set and a solid value for the money (about twenty dollars). The finish is good quality, and the accessories (carrying pouch, two bottle pourer inserts, a mixing spoon, a muddler, and a double jigger) are a nice touch, though I was primarily purchasing for the shaker set itself. The top to the shaker does require it to be seated squarely to seal well, and the "weight" of the shaker is a little on the light side (ie, somewhat thin meal construction) but these are extremely minor issues. And again, for the price (if it were a $50 set I might expect more), this is as good of a value as you could hope to receive. Based on this, it is a definite 5-star item. I got this to make quarantine cocktails, plus we'd been looking for a shaker set for a while. Might as well make the best of things. I ordered the black version of this set and was a bit let down when I received it. The finish looks a whole lot more like a gun metal finish than black. I checked the box and it said that's what it was supposed to be. It's very functional and you get a lot of tools for the price. The carrying bag is nice, but I doubt I'll use it too much. Very easy to clean and use. I'd have given it a higher rating if the finish was more as advertised and shown in the photographs. It came with a set of recipe cards which you can pull apart as single cards or just leave folded up accordion style. Will have to try experimenting with some of them! Overall, good product for the price and will look great in my liquor cabinet. ... show more
