The pros: If you have been wanting a red western boot, this is a great dark red color. As shown in the picture, the boot has random alternating red and darker red areas. Pattern is etched and printed on the boot. Boot is more beautiful than in picture. This is a short western boot with a snip toe. Heel height is about 1.5 inches which makes it comfortable. If you own any Roper boots, expect same familiar fit and comfort. Love the inner side zipper quality which makes it easy for putting on and taking boots off. The outer part of boot has a traditional pull-on strap for the western boot appearance. The insole padding for Roper boots is never enough for me and I add a store bought heel/arch combined insole. It is a PU outer so it will stretch and form to your foot faster than leather. The outer is soft and supple, looks like leather. Runs true to size and you can wear these for hours. Great boot for the price. The cons: If you want real leather, this is not your boot. However the PU is very comfortable and feels/looks like leather for a beautiful dark red boot. But I recommend you give these a chance because Roper boots look like leather and are a great quality boot for the price. I would give these 5 stars, except the insoles for me on Roper brand always need help, I use these for line dancing and wear them for 4-5 hours with no issues. ... show more

These are the cutest boots ever! I feel in love with the style and color! I did order a 9 thinking if be ok. But ended up having to order a half size up, because I have wide feet. But wore them and had zero issues. So cute to dress up or down! I wore with jeans and even tried a dress on! Super cute! Now I just need weather for a dress 👗 Loved them so much I have a pair of the red ones coming in Tuesday!! Yay! ... show more

This boot is very stylish and I like the imprint on the shoe. They are comfortable on the footbed. The heel height is perfect for everyday walking or riding shoes. I like the color of them also. This brown will go well with several outfits. I love that they are just above the ankle to the lower calf area on the leg. Will work well with jeans and summer dresses. I read other reviews before ordering to get an idea of sizing. The boots run big in size so I feel I could have ordered down a size but overall I am satisfied. I will just put on thicker socks I guess. I have small ankles and they are a little wide for us small ankle ladies. Nice comfortable boot. I have a high arch, so the side zipper makes it easier to get on and off. It also has room for a thin sock. My feet sweat, so I must wear some kind of sock. A modern look for this old lady. 😊
