It fit true to size (I wear 11) which was awesome. The calf fit my biggish calf (barely, no extra room at all). The toe box was very roomy. Didn't even mind the bright silver sparkle; I would've covered it if it bugged me. I love the heel height (ie not too high). But when I walked, the crease cut into the top of my foot in a painful way. I *mightve been able to stretch it to make it work, but I don't loooove them enough to try. Returning. I absolutely LOVE these boots!! I loved them so much that I bought 2 pairs, the brown and the tan pair. I am even thinking of buying the black as well. I have a pair of $250 boots by a different maker which are not even as comfortable as these Roper boots. Normally I have to wear an insert, due to foot problems, but with these Roper boots, I don't. Do not hesitate, you will LOVE them!! So glad I discovered the Roper brand. I will definitely be buying more from Roper. ... show more
