LOVE these boots, but beware, they run BIG! Normally I wear a size 8.5 to 9, so I originally ordered a size 9 since these were my first pair of cowboy boots. They were WAY TOO BIG, so I returned for a size 8.5 which was STILL TOO BIG. I have NOT been able to order a size 8 yet as they have been out of stock. I LOVED the boots, the color, the feel and the over all look, just beware of the sizing. Hoping a size 8 will be in stock soon. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am very impressed with these boots. They fit great and they are really comfortable. They don’t require any breaking in. The color is okay. I love Roper boots. I’ve bought this brand for the past 30 years.

These boots had a terrible fit. I don't have any special needs with my feet (don't need wide or narrow sizes) and can typically order shoes online because I know my size. For these boots, the heel had way too much room and my feet slipped around a lot, but the weird thing was that the part that covers the top of your foot was way too snug. So because the top of the foot area was so tight, I couldn't just wear thick socks to fix the issue with the extra space in the heel. I ended up returning these boots the day I got them because just trying them on and walking around my home was so uncomfortable. The sole is super hard and didn't feel like it would break in easily. I love these boots! For the price, they are definitely worth it. They fit true to size - I normally wear a 9.5 in everything so that is what I ordered. At first , I felt like my feet were sliding in them, but If I were to have ordered a size down, they would have been too tight on the top of my foot so I recommend ordering your normal size and wearing good socks. Color and quality are great! We will see how they do over time. (I am writing this review with the boots straight out of the box). ... show more
