I bought this tool a year ago, just unboxed it to use on cypress roots growing in my y yard......, it bent/broke on the third root.

Worked well the first time until the weld between the blade and bar broke. Asked seller what can be done to remedy the situation and didn’t hear back. I would not recommend buying this product as a result.

The blade broke off the first time I used it. Works vertically, but when you try to pry off the blade from the root blade can break off. Intention for tool is good, but the design needs work. I will see what a welder can do with it.

Item broke at the weld after cutting about a dozen roots. It broke where the head and the tube welded together. The idea is good but obviously not built strong enough.

The tool is heavy and the way the impact hammer works makes it a bit difficult to maneuver. The impact is a tube that goes over the level to slide up and down and that makes it a bit difficult to move around. I did not find the impact combo easy to use, while as a shovel alone was very effective. The blade was sharp and appeared of good quality. I was able to dig quite easy with just the shovel. Once you place the shovel in a specific location the impact tube with the weight definitely aided well. The price is decent for what you get, making it of a decent value.

Amazing quality! This is an absolute muscle of a tool. Removed a stubborn root in less than 5 minutes! There isn't any grip pads. I smashed my finger twice while trying to learn how to use this. I think that in order to chip away old stumps this may have to be sharpened. After I figured out the usage, it wasn't hard to use. Pretty easy infact, just lift the outer layer up and bring it down with a bit of force and pressure (wear gloves). If I were aan or bigger, or younger😓, the digging could have been faster, and deeper. All in all this is an excellent tool, that makes a big chore easier. AMAZON FIND ✅
