Got this in a few days ago and with summer on the way in Florida, it feels like a no brainer! The back of my car gets so hot that it takes extra long for the rear ac to cool it down, but thankfully with this it stays a whole heck of a lot cooler, were talking an easy 20-30 degree difference! (Bonus because when grabbing groceries from Walmart or target, the perishables struggle with the sun beaming down, so this is a big helper in blocking out the heat!) Very good quality, its strong plastic flex liner popped right in. Looks awesome, easy to install, and quality is perfect for the price. It does cover the entire rear trunk glass by the way.

This rear window shade is twist-folded in a drawstring bag. We have a 2024-2025 Tesla Model Y. To install, just open the rear hatch and insert the shade frame into the window space. It easily holds in place. It is supposed to have ten layers of light- and heat-blocking polyester in a manganese frame. The outside layer is silvery multicolored, while the inside layer is black. It is opaque—not see-through. It is not safe to drive with this in place—you won’t be able to see out the back. The multicolor is muted—not dazzling-—from outside, and draws no attention. It blocks the sunlight and heat and views into the trunk through the rear glass; just what I needed. It is easy to remove and twist-fold to fit back in the bag. It is extremely useful for vacation trips and grocery shopping.

This rear window tesla sunshade has a great fit and feels durable. The shade is made of a thicker fabric that feels like it would last. The outer facing side is a reflective lighter iridescent color to reflect sunlight and heat. The inner facing side is black and blends in with the rest of the cabin. The outer edge is able to bend enough to allow easy installation into the vehicle. Installation takes about sixty seconds after your initial install.Simply remove the shade from its storage bag and unfold to its full size. Add the included clips that snap onto the shades outside edges. Then slide the shade into place and the clips between the window and window trim. For us this is a great accessory for camping in the summer or sitting under the hatch. The cover reduces around 95% of the light entering the window. There are though a few stray rays of sun that can get through the far edges of the shade near the car trim. The fit is spot on so I feel this is an unavoidable trade off. The shade combined with the factory tint gives you increased privacy if you car camp. Just being able to reduce energy consumption from overheat protection makes this a great buy. I look forward to using it more this summer and beyond.

I ordered this rear windshield sunshade for my Tesla Model Y, and it’s made a noticeable difference in both comfort and visibility. The fit is perfect — it aligns well with the rear liftgate window and stays securely in place without sagging. Blocks direct sunlight, which works okay, but does nothing for the heat in the car. Just a thin sheet of lining in a flimsy wire frame. It does match well with the interior of the car. Not worth the price though at all.

You cannot see light pass through, nor the headlights of the vehicles behind you. Also, the fit is not quite right and it bunches up in the corners. Since no light passes through, using this product may conflict with state statutes.
