I have used an Amana spiolboard cutter for years. When the replacement blades tripled in price I thought I would try something new. This is a well makes cutter. I yet to try it so I will add to this after than. One of the cutters did come chipped or I would have given it 5 stars.

    • Good, but you need a good spindle and consistent coolant for aluminum.

Im building a new cnc machine with a 3hp spindle. I wanted to see if this would work with my machine. Honestly, it worked perfectly. I ran it at 10,000 rpms and a slow feed rate. It cut aluminum like butter. I had to turn on my flood coolant to keep it running without getting stuck to the aluminum. I started cutting without flood turned on and it was occasionally sticking to the aluminum and shaking. Keeping the flood running kept it humming along with no problems. My spindle has little to no wobble which is importantwhen usingthese types of bits. After cutting aluminum for an hour, the blades are still sharp and look like new. ... show more

I wouldn't recommend this tool to any one. First time using it one of the blades broke on it due to a bent shaft. l guess that's why the top brands cost 300-400 dollars as to $60. You get what you pay for.

First time used on March 28, 2023 on Aluminum T6061 for surfacing, spindle rpm=18,000, cut depth 0.5mm, feed rate =50 mm/min. Two inserts got chips off at the blade edge. Surface finish is not good.

Not even close as described on Amazon. Very disappointing. I can’t return it since I was visiting USA from Sweden for a limited time. Product description was much more solid compared to what I received. I’m so sad right now.
