This review is for the Rominz Womens Slip on Platform Sneakers White Platform Canvas Shoes for Women Low Top Tennis Shoes. Just got these delivered today and I gotta say I am a fan! These have a cool retro-ish vibe with some current style updates! So I got these in black size 7 and I have to say I find they run small. I have small flat thin feet, depending on the label in shoes/boots I can wear 6.5 - 7.5, I will sometimes go as high as an 8 if they are pointy toed or if I want to be able to wear thick socks. Having said all that, they are difficult to get on, but once on they are comfortable! I did not undo the laces tonight, I just tried them on real quick like. What I had trouble with was the the heel portion of the shoes as it kept being pushed down when trying to insert my foot, and with my back being bad I can't bend over to keep it pulled up as I slip my foot in. So soon as I get a bit of free time I'll have another go at these and loosen the laces up and see if they are easier, might need to check into a long handle shoe horn too LOL. I'm so used to never having trouble getting shoes on that this was a bit different. And given my other "tennis shoes" are reebok and fila, these are much different just being the canvas type material. If these had a finger loop to grab at the back of the shoes that would help to get them on easier. So these remind me so much of a fav of mine from decades ago with the rubber up over the toe box, I just love them! And the current on trend laces you don't have to tie combined with built up outsoles are just so cool, it makes them not feel like tennis shoes! The soles have great structure ad support while still having some flex in them, great tread too for nonslip! Inside they have a great foot bed pad, insoles have cushion and there is arch support but not so much it feels like a rock in my shoe. When you have flat feet high arches are not comfortable, at least not for me. The tongue is attached with wide strong black elastic on the topside to the underside where the sides come up for the laces, the elastic is not visible unless you undo the laces and pull those upper side portions wider apart. But if these fit you well enough you could wear them without any laces I believe. These are made of a really thick good quality weave canvas material and have good structure. These are kinda like an on trend cross between a loafer/tennis shoe with a little retro pizazz. LOL. I think anybody can wear these no matter your age and they will go with a wide array of styles! Don't be afraid to step outside of your usual comfort box and give these a try! I would love to see these on offer in more colors! Oh almost forgot being made of canvas these shoes will breathe! So if you get sweaty feet these may be a good option for you! When I stack these up VS the regular price $23.99 per the listing is a great buy! I'm one of those I don't care one bit what label/brand something is, if I like It I wear it.... if I don't like it I'm not wearing it! Period. So you might not believe what I just said there about the brand/label. I do have some stuff of brand names, however, I'm a thrift store/yard sale junkie! LOL. These shoes are an asset addition to my wardrobe choices! As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

These slip on platform sneakers run true to size but they seem a bit low in the back of the ankle. It's almost like the addition of the thin padded insole was an afterthought and the shoes weren't designed to accommodate an insole without compromising coverage on the back of your ankle. If the backs were any shorter, these would probably slide right off your foot as you walked because of not fitting the back of the ankle properly. The soles are thick and clunky. If the rubber were any stiffer, they'd be hard plastic. The insoles are cheap and the glue underneath applied sloppily. These are priced like bobo's and constructed like them as well. They aren't the worst but you get what you pay for and these definitely look like bobo's. On the plus side, they are extremely white and don't have any yellowing of the fabric or the rubber. I also have not noticed a lot of glue seepage on the outside of the shoe. These are just okay. Not bad for the low price.

I thought my 15 yr old daughter would really enjoy the chunky style of these shoes, and she does, but we encountered 2 problems. One is, the black shoes came covered in a white, powdery coating that we had to scrub off the rubber with wet wipes. The other is that the sizing is just too small. My daughter does verge on the edge of a wide width, and there is no way she is able to wear these comfortably even though we ordered 1/2 size up. The construction and style are both great, though.

I don't have a wide foot, but I do have a higher arch, I guess, and it makes shoes sometimes tight across the top. These are great though. They fit great with the laces until I spent a whole day walking and they were tight across the top by the end of the day. I removed the laces since the shoe is still snug thanks to the elastic on the sides of the tongue that make them slide ons. They fit perfect now all day and I can slide them on easier, too. Great look and fit, so I highly recommend,

Got these for my 13 year old daughter and she loves them. Super comfy and great for school. The no tie laces are great. If you have teenagers or young ones definitely a great buy.

We received these and were impressed with the quality. The big issue came when trying to put them on. The laces were too tight. When loosened the laces were too short. Once on, the shoes were comfortable. We like the style and quality. The laces however for some will probably need to be replaced.
