    • Rollo - Please stop closing the label with unremovable sticker
These labels are fine. I think most times when people complain about the blurry labels it's because their printer needs to be recalibrated, or they need to clean the thermal with some alcohol. I would give this 5 stars because it's a decent value for the money, but I am so frustrated with the way they seal the roll itself that I'm docking a star. Here's what I mean, when you open the roll, the first label is taped to the third label to keep the roll for unrolling. This is fine, except the tape they use is permanent, and you cannot remove it from the label it is taped on. The label at the end is attached to the roll itself with a different type of tape, which is easier to remove but still not possible without damaging the labels. This basically means instead of 500 labels, you get 497, since the 1st, 3rd, and last label will come off with damages from the tape used to seal it, to the point you cannot print a proper barcode on them. If you want to use the second label, which is most likely clean and free of damage, you will need to feed it manually instead of on the roll, or just start with the second and keep in mind the 3rd label is unusable. I wouldn't recommend running the labels with the adhesive stickers on top through the rollo printer itself though, because the adhesion ends up getting stuck on the heat transfer bar, and stops the printer from being able to print cleanly where the adhesion strip was. Less than 1% of the labels you may say, but it's annoyingly wasteful and bothers me everytime I open a new package. Hopefully they fix this at some point. ... show more
