Update, so I wore these to the rink and I had to send them back...they were too wide for the moves, and I could seem to pull them tight enough, and I had on 2 pair of socks. These are good for beginners or outside skaters. If you’re a true skater you should go to Riedell’s site and enter your zip code and find a rink that sell roller skates so you can try them on. I haven't worn them to the rink yet due to COVID Omicron! But I have practiced my balance and move in them, and they seem to be fine so far and very comfortable.     • SLOPPY assembly - horrifically MISALIGNED skate plates.

For skates that cost $114.99 you'd think that, at the very least they'd be assembled properly. NOPE. The skate plates are mounted incorrectly such that not only are the left and right plates misaligned, but they're also mounted crooked. You're probably thinking, alright what's the big deal, nothing is perfect, right? Sure, but if your left skate is mounted such that it veers, aggressively to the right, well... do the math. And this isn't something that can be corrected with adjustments to the trucks or the bushings. Looking at the way the plates are mounted the problem is too severe to be corrected by any means other than re-mounting the plates on each skate. In other words, they're defective. For skates at this price to have their plates mounted improperly to the extent that they are, is woefully ignorant. Its a shame, because the boot itself is actually really nice - tons of anatomically relevant padding throughout the ankle, speed lacing, and a comfortable foot bed. Of course, you can always return a defective pair of skates and exchange them for a new, hopefully not defective pair. But at this price you can get a pair of brand name skates sans sloppy skate plate problems. Not worth the hassle. Two stars instead of one since the skate boot itself is hella comfortable and the wheels are pretty legit as well. ... show more

Ok, the title of this review has no real meaning. I just wanted to create a fun little rhyme. :o) However, these are very good rollerskates. Our daughter loves them... and she can be pretty picky when it comes to things that go on her feet. We return at least 2/3 of the shoes we buy her online. She loves these skates - so that is really saying something. Notes- - My daughter *specifically* mentioned how she like how they support her ankles. I nearly fell over when she said this... I think this is the first pair of foot garments where she ever liked the amount of ankle support. - She has not complained about them being hot, itchy, scratchy, or any other real or imaginary complaint that could pop into her teenage mind. - From my perspective, the wheels are solid construction and seem to use high-quality bearings. I am impressed at how smoothly the wheels spin. - High quality materials. Nothing about these skates looks or feels cheap. Final Verdict - so far, so good. They have withstood a pretty impressive critic and made her happy. Since we are not professional rollerskaters it is possible that we have overlooked something, but for now we are very happy with the RollerFace Hipskates ... show more

Great shakes. Look and skate just as well as the 300 dollar ones. The boot resembles real leather. All the wheels turn well, and the aluminum frame is sturdy and durable. If anything, I would just suggest going up a size.
