My old wrist guards were cheap gloves with a bit of square curved plastic on the palm and the celcro straps becameless and less secure. But after two falls where my fingers were hurt because only a small area of the armour touched the ground and more importantly, the guard failed to cushion the shock to my wrist, i realised i need a better pair so i got these. I love how they feel on my hands, they re a bit more restricted so you won't be able to do delicate stuff while wearing them but protection is what im looking for, not the ability to use my hands with complex stuff while riding. The plastic curves over a lot more area of my palm and the way they push my fingers out means when i did have a fall, my fingers were fine and the guard cushion the shock that the next day i didn't feel any strain or aches on my wrist. Some of the wrist guards being sold supposedly fit adults but are too small for adult male hands of ordinary size. These come in different sizes and they will fit adult male hands. I always were leather gloves when skating and this fit over the gloves properly.

Product defective one side not sewn on one of the pairs I ordered. Other pair is good. Amazon return process failed. I filled out form and printed shipping return label on 4/22. Mailed it out the next day. Received email stating. Your item was delivered to the front desk, reception area, or mail room at 2:26 pm on April 26, 2023. But received email on 5/5 that my replacement was cancelled. So now I have paid for a defective item that I returned and have nothing. Really unhappy, will order direct from manufacturer from now on instead of through amazon. ... show more

Fits great, much better than an off brand I had tried. They are comfortable. And they feel like they will be very protective. I don’t do jumps or anything but I always worry about falling when I’m skating fast. These give me peace of mind that I won’t tear up my palms or wrists if I fall.
