I bought the medium size and am 118 lbs at 5’4. The knee pads fit perfectly. The hand pads are a little big since I have extremely small hands, however, they fit relatively well when pulled as tight as they go and are still comfortable and effective when slightly loose fitting. The elbow pads are uncomfortable and feel too small. I choose not the wear the elbow pads for that reason but also find that they are the least important ones to wear anyway. They are kind of uncomfortable around the elbows, and knees, and the wrist guards are ok for sliding but it doesn’t do much for impact. I feel it’s almost better without them.. I’ve been saved a couple times but they slide around when you land.

Having not inline skated in twenty years, I recently got back into it and ordered the the 187 Killer Pads set for maximum protection. While it is an excellent set, the pads ended up being a little bit too bulky for my liking and so I got these Rollerblade ones for the lower profile as well. Based on my measurements, my elbows were in the upper range of small and my knees were in the lower range of medium. I ordered both sizes, and the small ended up being the better fit. The plastic shells were similar in size with the medium being only very slightly bigger. However, the sleeve was baggy once I fastened the velcro straps. Overall, this set is a good value. It offers sufficient protection and doesn't make my knees sweaty. I am only giving this four stars though for the rough edges of the straps, the narrow fit, and for the fact that the velcro snags any other part of the pad it touches too easily. ... show more

It does the job if you lightly fall now and then at very low speeds but the padding is very thin. So if you’re looking to protect yourself from falls at higher speeds this is not for you. I took a few falls and ended up with bruises under the pads. I’ll be switching to something with thicker pads.
