100mm is the way to go!
I’m having a blast! I will say after taking 20+ years off skating it’s good to be back! Like a lot of yall I’m sure you hit 40+ years old and were like “hey I wanna skate again like I did in the 90s!” Well it’s just as much fun as you remember it! I will say there is a learning curve and if you didn’t stay in shape it’ll be extra rough. I’m not in the best shape but I’ve tried to exercise a few times a week since HS and I’m only 45lbs from my HS weight 😂 The 100mm 3wD is so much fun! If you’re like me and buy things over your skill level and hope to work into it these are perfect. I used 80mm 4 wheel hard boot skates back in the day and these are light years ahead in performance and quality. I was lucky and go these skates on sale but the value for money would be excellent even at full price. The hight is definitely something to consider they are way taller than an average skate. The speed is great they glide effortlessly so be carful and take it slow. I specifically got these cause they come with a brake and I’m very glad I did. The soft boot is very comfortable as well. I have small ankles so I will probably need thicker socks as the padding wears but it’s acquit for now. Do yourself a favor and buy some skates and get back out there you’ll be glad you did.

Fast and Comfy
I ditched my 4-wheel blades for these 3-wheel skates, and so far, I love 'em. My 4-wheels had BOA lacing, which these do not, so I am missing that feature. But I love the speed of the Macroblade 100s. I've knocked off 2 minutes from my best circuit time. The pull-lacing system took a while to get used to; it was easy to overtighten them, but not easy to ease off on the fly as the velcro strap wraps right over the lacing release button. The ratchet cuff strap is way better than my old blades, and you can tighten them on the fly - unlike the boot laces. The boot is firm without being too tight and seem to have molded to my feet after a few skates - again, try different lace tightening pressures until you find a comfortable balance. Speed and maneuverability are off the hook no matter the surface - concrete or tar. Small rocks and sticks are much less impactful than skating with a smaller wheel size.

Functional
Size: 9
I recently purchased a pair of roller skates, and I have to say, they have exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and overall quality. First and foremost, these roller skates are incredibly comfortable. The padding inside the boot provides excellent support, and I can skate for hours without experiencing discomfort or blisters. The adjustable straps and laces also ensure a secure fit, which is essential for safety and control. In terms of performance, these roller skates are outstanding. The wheels provide a smooth and stable ride, whether I’m skating on the street or at the rink. The bearings seem to be of high quality, allowing for effortless gliding and impressive speed. One feature I particularly appreciate is the durability of these skates. They’ve held up well even after several months of regular use. The sturdy construction gives me confidence that they will last for a long time. Additionally, these roller skates are versatile. I’ve used them for both recreational skating and as a means of transportation for short distances, and they’ve performed admirably in both scenarios. Overall, I can’t recommend these roller skates enough. They are functional, comfortable, and built to last, making them an excellent investment for anyone looking to enjoy roller skating. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, these skates are sure to impress.

3 wheels vs 4 wheels, and quality
Size: 11
I used to Blade in the 80’s and 90’s, so thought I would give these 3wheelers a go. They are difficult to get used to, because u are higher off the ground. I can seem to figure out how to go backwards on these yet. On my old blades (4 wheels) I skated backwards easily all the time). They are faster than my 4 wheel blades back in the day. They soak up bumps really well too! Just note, they will take awhile to master. I’m on week two, and getting a better hang on how to safely make my way on city streets and parks. Build- These blades are very supportive, and well made. Worth the $200 price tag. If u are new to blading, or an old pro, these will take a bit to get used to if u ride city streets. They are amazing on fresh paved roads and pathways. Here it’s insanely easy, safe, and fast.

Not beginner skates, good for speed.
Size: 10
Don’t get me wrong, for me personally, i have no problem with the skates. They were exactly what i was after when i was browsing to order a new pair, which was more speed and stability. i ended up finding these and the shorter 10.8” frame pair with the 100mm 3WD set up makes maneuverability & stability really nice, even at higher speeds. you’ll learn to appreciate speed laces if you don’t use them already. if your looking for a pair to go faster but also do tricks easy, i would recommend anything 4WD and max 90mm wheel size. These are more meant for someone who is experienced in the field and knows what their doing when skating. If your looking for something to give a smooth fast & balanced ride, at the cost of some maneuverability & extra weight over your current ones (bigger wheels are heavier). For someone who wants speed and to go fast around corners and in straight aways comfortably, these are an exceptional choice. But if your not looking for a speed boost or your just someone who enjoys showing off, then i would still recommend upgrading off a 4x80 set up and go to a 4x84 / 4x86 as these skates will more then likely have better bearing for increased roll speed, bigger wheels for more DPR & an upgraded, refreshed feeling over your current ones.

Awesome purchase
Size: 9.5
I recently Decided to get these along with my 6 year old who is just starting is rollerblading journey. I’m 33 years old and haven’t skated in about 20 years. They are a little pricy compared to some but cheaper than other higher end models out there. They’re sturdy feeling but comfortable. The padding in the shoe is great and feels like a basketball shoe. The big wheels take bumps well and actually they’re smooth as they come with a decent bearing. They’re better than the ones I grew up with for sure. Great cardio workout and a welcome change from the routine often dull jogging loops I’m accustomed to. Definitely do the foot tracing and measure to pick your size. Also tighten the bolts with the included tools after a few miles of use. My son and I are having a good time. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, quality and great customer service
Size: 12.5
Got these because I’m new to rollerblading and they have a back brake while also having my size (size 12 1/2 rollerblades are nearly impossible to find). Some comments suggest going up in size but I’m glad I didn’t, these fit perfectly. A few weeks in skating nearly every day and I’m already walking my dog on these things. One of the laces started to tear and they’re sending me a replacement pair of laces as well as conventional laces so I’ll never have this issue again. A little bit more expensive than some of your other options, but I guarantee they would not be the same quality, fit or have customer service that goes above and beyond.
