The material is so soft it has no support at all on your ankles. One of the metal grommets fell off the first time I wore them and I had to try to rig it back up. They feel Squirrley and don’t roll very good. They’re just really bad but for the price I kind of expected that. i’m pretty sure that they will fall apart completely after a few times of wearing them I didn’t bother returning them. I just figured I’d wear them until they fell apart and then throw them in the trash and buy some better ones. ... show more

The skates started off OK. The boot is comfortable and as expected. Abec 7 bearings installed so definitely a starter skate. While skating on the rink, my child noticed it was loose at the front of one skate. The entire brace holding the front 2 skates fell apart. The lock nut was missing the lock cushion in the nut. So nothing was keeping it from unscrewing. Trying to find it sent me to various places because the nut was a metric measurement . Napa had the metric nuts. The bag was a nice addition but completely fell apart after 2 carries. I decided to change out all the wheels,bearings, nuts. I changed the shoe strings and tightened the wheel bars. So far, no more issues . Keep in mind, the base bar is plastic so again this is uncommon and we will see how it goes. It may be a good enough starter for a limited time. Just make sure all wheeled pieces are properly installed. He will grow out of them so they will be temporary . Good enough if you are willing to inspect before/ after each skating session. ... show more

These are the Walmart version of Jordan’s … to be frank .. AND I LOVE THEM for my 10 yr old. He’s still learning he tosses them around he’s skates in them daily for hours and he loooooves the strings that light up. He will outgrow these in a few months probably and I’ll buy another replacement pair until he learns how to skate really well and he learns to be responsible. These are $40 skates … money well spent. ... show more

They run small and are very uncomfortable....the sole is flimsy , the quality isn't the best either....and after 3 weeks the skates started falling apart.
