The build quality does leave some to be desired, especially the assembly attached to the bottom of the boot. The bearings, wheels, and bushings however are pretty good for the price. They DO seem rather lightweight and with much abuse they may not hold up. Temper your expectations, but these aren't bad skates at all! BIG HINT. These run small compared to the sizing they mention in one of the pictures of the listing. Do yourself a favor and go a size larger! ... show more

I prefer quad skates over rollerblades. This is a decent pair of skates, though it's not the absolute highest quality you'll find, it's adequate for most people who aren't racing or participating in roller derby. The wheels move easily, and light up while in motion. The laces don't really match, but they're sturdy and well made. The "suede" is faux suede, but it does look really good. Also, the army green color is more of a gorgeous teal, exactly what I wanted. I ordered these in a size 9. My shoe size is 9.5, and there's a little bit of room in them, but not so much that I won't be able to skate properly in them. I would NOT suggest sizing up. Use your actual shoe size, and then take it a half size down if you're able. Or use the European sizing. I wear a 41 in euro sizing, and these size 41 skate boots are nearly perfect. They do include a tool to remove the wheels and the brake, which I appreciate. Inside, the boot is very comfy. The insole is padded and cushy, and I experience no discomfort while wearing them. The color is gorgeous, and they're well made. For $50, they're about as good as you'd expect. There are some minor imperfections in the glue job, where glue seeped out and wasn't wiped away, but the stitching on the faux leather is all perfect. One thing to note - in the image, the wheels are lit up a light blue. They light up green, red and blue. Otherwise, they are exactly as pictured and described. 4.5/5. ... show more

These skates are so much fun. They ride smoothly and are comfortable to wear. I got the leather ones, and they are so comfortable, feels like wearing a normal shoe, they are true to size I would get your normal boot size. It feels like they have a steel toe in case of impact, but there’s pliantly of room to wiggle my toes. They are comfortable to ride and don’t rub on my feet or make them uncomfortable. Just like any new shoe you should break them in first before you decide to go on that four hour skate run. I hope my review was helpful to you. ... show more

I got these for my 13 year old. It was their first time roller skating. The skates themselves are very nice and heavy. The leather is really smooth and durable. My child fell many many times and the leather didn't break. The wheels were smooth rolling. They come with a tighten tool and instuctions. They also came with these 2 leather flaps which i had no idea what to do with. I just left them in the box. Also they might run a half inch too big. My child's foot needed 2 pairs of thick socks even though i got her shoe size. Overall I think these are really good skates. ... show more
