These skates are perfect for my new 8 year old skater. They are sturdy and keep her ankles stiff. Also they expand so they will fit her for a longer time span. They are heavy for her but since they keep her ankles straight I'm ok with that. She loves them and the lights are a nice touch.

They are great roller skates. We ordered two pairs of them. Only reason I am giving them a 4…we got one with laces and other parts, and the other pair came with no laces or parts. Hopefully no one else has that problem.

Gifted these to my 7 year old for her birthday and she absolutely loves them! We used the size chart and measured her foot, these fit perfectly! They were easy for her to learn to put on and off herself, easy to adjust the sizing as well. The wheels light up when rolling, colors are vibrant and fun. The skate feets very sturdy, the inside where the foot goes is VERY cushioned and protected. There is a 3 part secure, 1st is the laces, 2nd is the velcro strap and 3rd are the plastic buckled you click into place. They have the stopper at the front if the foot and a handy hook at the heel to carry them when you take the skates off. These were more affordable than what i found elsewhere.
