Got a ton of compliments from fellow skaters. A good alternative to Riedells or Bonts. The boots are sturdy good quality, yet not too stiff and didn’t require a ton of breaking in, even without heat molding. The reinforced toe is a bonus and the wide toe is awesome even though I have a narrow foot myself. The boot sits higher up on the ankle, which is what drew me to them in the first place. It gives me more stability and it’s what I’m used to from ice skating. The laces are waxed and the wheels are the perfect durometer for beginners who don’t want to constantly change out their wheels if they want to go from trail skating to indoor skating or park skating. The toe stops are decent-sized and good enough for a newbie derby skater, but would recommend bigger/wider tie stops if you’re going to jam. The plate is Bont, which I was pleasantly surprised with. Overall recommend if you’re going from upper beginner to intermediate speed/derby skating.

These came with pretty good reviews but after skating on them one time I could not stand them. The wheel base is realllllllly narrow which makes them hard to adjust to. They kept trying to keep me on my heels and if I tried to lean forward a little to compensate the front wheels are too far back and you tend to tip over. I am NOT a beginner. Been skating for most of my life. I bought the first pair based off their size chart and they were too small. Ordered up half a size and should have went a full size. For the price I paid I am not impressed and don't want them. I will stick to my 70 dollar pair.

Skates: I was struggling to find a pair of roller derby skates that don’t hurt my feet until I found these skates. I am so pleasantly surprised with how light and comfortable they feel. It’s like they were made for my feet. The wheel spun freely and the bearings came with a light oil, not like some other skates where I have had to clean the grease out to make the wheels spin. The wheels are very good on my indoor wooden basketball court where we play derby. The outer skin looks very durable. I am super happy with these skates.

When I got these skates I was super excited because they are SUPER CUTE and roll very smoothly. Style-wise and quality: I love everything about them! Where I’m a little disappointed is that the sizing is off and they are too small. I followed the sellers instructions for sizing - actually did it a couple of times - and ordered based on the instruction. When I got the skates though, I initially couldn’t even get them on and messaged the seller to see if I could exchange for a larger size. I wasn’t able to as these were ordered through the Amazon Vine program, so I ended up getting shoe stretchers. The stretchers helped some as I’m not able to get them on and skate, but they’re still tight on my big toe so I will try stretching them some more. Skating around in them a little though, I’ve found that they are exactly as I thought they’d be: SUPER smooth and FAST skating! I’m not fast - I’m just getting back into skating after a lot of years, but they will be SUPER FUN to skate in! I removed one star only because the sizing is small even by using seller instructions. I advise others to measure as instructed, and then still size up.

I'm really enjoying these quads from Capetos. My usual size in skates and shoes is a 37, but I ordered the 37.5 in these skates. These run about a size small. So the 37.5 boots fit more like a 36.5. That said, with a very thin sock, I can achieve a 'glove-like' fit in these skates. The boot is shaped very well, so that it matches my anatomy perfectly. The boot provides really good support, but it does so without making my feet feel like they're completely restricted and locked up like traditional skate shoes do. The vegan leather has just enough give to provide an excellent fit that's responsive and supportive. The boots are mounted onto fiberglass Bont brand plates, with 60x40mm 88A hardness wheels mounted on the 8mm axles. The stock wheels/bearings are absolutely sublime, allowing me to jam super fast with seemingly little effort required. SUBLIME. Bushings are a little hard for my taste, but I'll see if they break in to provide a little more give over time. Otherwise I'll swap them out with something that has a little more yield. The entire toe area of the boot is reinforced with a thick, plastic like material which has so far proven that it can take some abuse. The skates come pre-laced, which is always a plus. Tongue does not slide around, stays completely centered even during aggressive skating while leaving the ankle unlaced. Pretty impressive considering there's no velcro on the tongue to keep it from sliding. Clear indicator of a well designed boot. As with all good skates, the break in period on these is going to be ROUGH. There's no hot spots or areas of concern, but the boot is factory fresh so its going to take some blood sweat and tears into to get it broken in and molded to my feet and skating style. But I think these are worth it - great for aggressive skaters who need a skate that fits as though it were an extension of their body. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I typically wear a US size 6 , but I received a size 37.5/5 for this product. It actually fits me well. You guys can use this as a size reference when you make your purchase decision. I haven’t had a chance to skate on it outside since the weather is cold now. I will update review later after I have more experience with it.
