I had originally bought a pair of these shoes. And after 134 miles (according to my step counter) the heel was falling off. I had originally left a 2 star review but am updating it for the following reason. 1. They are comfortable and look good. 2. The customer service they provided after my first review was excellent. 3. They are low cost and effective Will these last 1000 miles of walking? Probably not. But for casual wearers these are great shoes. I walk about 5-6 miles per day and it is understandable why they wouldn't last as long. The new pair I received definitely seem to hold up a lot better. So I'm looking forward to that. If you're looking for an affordable boot with a zipper that looks good and comfortable. These are a great choice.

Wear these everyday on the RX1E. Comfortable with arch support inserts that I always use. Commuted to work and ran errands from -8°F to 68°F and always felt fine. Stylish and easy to take care of. I replaced the shoelaces with no-tie laces -- partly for safety since one of the big causes of bike drops is the rider getting their bootlaces caught on the levers or pegs. Might order another pair just to have on hand -- because they are that great!
