I was a little skeptical of the square toes as I prefer pointed for myself (female) but I love these. I have a larger wide food and typically wear size 12 running shoes and size 11 flats, I read reviews stating they run big to get a size down so I got a size 10 and it fits great! Maybe should of gotten a size 9.5. Granted you'd want to wear thick socks with boots, so size 10 is great with that. I got a lot of compliments from it and it looks just the same in person as it does online, if not better. It looks and feels of much higher quality that the price shows for. I ordered these for the Houston rodeo over this weekend and they fit comfortably right out the box. I got a size 7 1/2 which is my true size and they fit perfectly. I have wide feet wide calves and neuropathy in my feet. I wore my short compression socks in the boots and I walked around for 5 hours then another hour or so at the concert with no problems.
