So much fun! I bought this for my daughter in law because she loves puzzles. I wanted to get an “introductory” kit (less pieces) to see if it would be something she enjoyed because I want to get her a bigger one for Christmas. It was a challenge and a bit finicky, fussy but she loved it! She said she’d love to do another one so I got my answer!! Some of the pieces are extremely delicate. We broke 3 pieces in the process of putting it together. One piece had a replacement provided, one piece we gorilla glued and let it sit overnight, and the 3rd pieces was on the back so we left it off. I highly recommend this product! We had a great time putting it together (I popped the pieces out for her and helped where I could). Be patient! We made our mistakes when we got in a hurry. Walk away if need be! It’s so worth the wait! The babies (girls age 4 and 2) LOVE it!! It’s a hands off object though because even assembled it’s quite fragile! ... show more

    • Very well packaged - beyond expectations
The packaging of the product was fabulous. It was packaged in a sturdy cardboard box that is presentable enough to be wrapped as a present. There was minimal wasteful packaging on the inside. The wooden parts are tightly wrapped until you are ready to start the project. We found the instructions a little hard to follow, but luckily my husband figured it out on his own. A few of the wooden pieces broke, but extra pieces were included. My husband finished it in less than two hours and it looks perfect. I would have liked to have painted the pieces before putting it together, but it was difficult to decipher what the parts were from the instructions. It's just as well because painting it would have been time consuming and it looks beautiful just as it is. We are very pleased with this purchase and the manufacturer's presentation of the product. ... show more

    • Lots of fun overall, but feels a little flimsy and movement is a bit jerky
Overall this Ferris Wheel was easy to assemble, although there were a few illustrations in the instructions that were difficult to interpret, so it took a while to make sure all the steps were followed correctly. (I actually had to backtrack and redo some steps after realizing things weren't working.) My 4yo loved helping, but the pieces are very fragile and will break if handled roughly or by hands with underdeveloped fine motor skills. There are some spares for the more dainty pieces (phew!) Once completely assembled, the Ferris Wheel plays music and spins. The music is cute and lovely, and the spinning is a bit jerky...maybe this was because I missed a crucial step (wouldn't be surprised) but could be an artifact of the design. ... show more

Addictive. Once you start, you dont want to stop until you finish. Have a tube of superglue handy. The pieces are small and prone to break. A dab of glue is all you need to keep going.

    • Don't buy unless you don't mind tedious
Very tedious and a pain in the butt to put together. The pieces sometimes break (luckily there are lots of spares of the fragile pieces) and kinda time-consuming..took us 3 hrs. But once put together, it works and looks nice.
