This desk is as expected. Easy to assemble alone as long as you sort everything out. I got a little overwhelmed with the parts and hardware but sorted everting out and made it a breeze. The Top piece says you need two people to lift, but if you do it right you can lift it and place it by yourself without breaking. The Poweroutlets are AMAZING with it including 2 USB spots for charging phone or whatever you need with ease. Spacious to decorate your desk the way you want. I’m going to keep this short and simple. Desk looks great. However, all of the parts are definitely made from cheap materials. There’s no doubt about it. The metal support for the desk is easily bendable if you apply force and if your monitor is 32in and has that stand where there’s 2 legs in the front and 1 in the back, don’t bother trying to place your monitor on top, it’s way to big to fit on top. ... show more

Looks very nice when assembled, you get what you pay for. Take note of when placing the top board. It mentions two people handling it. I didn't pay attention to that, thinking, it can't be that "weak" and break. Well, yes it is and yes it did. The board the laminate is placed on is pretty weak in my opinion. They should have come up with a different design for the corner piece, if they new it was going to be this week. For example, 2 more metal brackets that would fit on the piece that broke would go a long ways to give the impression of sturdiness. Everything else is is well made for this price range. The LEDs work, not sure if I'll ever use them, the "carbon fiber" surfaces, looks very nice. The drawer is OK, but I would not put anything with substantial weight in it. This desk is perfect! I'm no gamer but I work the graveyard shift for a call center and I will be setting up 2 monitors and this is perfect! I have it on carpet and it doesn't wiggle. I love best purchase ever. Highly recommend.

Lights don't work correctly. Bought 2 deks and the lights will not work independently and don't turn off all way. must unplug to get entire light bar to go off.

I purchased this for my son and his new gaming system. I was pleasantly surprised at the construction, assembly instructions and overall quality. I will say the upper tier shelving is small and will not work as a printer area, but it is nice for other nick nacks and decorations. I placed the router and wi-fi tower on it. The PC tower area is small if you install the upper shelf, but I opted to leave it out and the ibuy power gaming pc (pretty stout) fit perfect!
