Love this coffee table! I've had it for a couple of months thus far and it is holding up well. The lift-top option is perfect to help me avoid craning my neck when I'm sitting and also facilitates me continuing to work while lying down. The drawers have come in handy for small electronics and notepads. Like many others have said, you do need to use both hands to lift up the table and set it down, with a bit of a wobble if you're not even with your movements but the table is quite sturdy once in its final position. I made this table on my own, with the trickiest part being lining up the springs/hinges before securing them with screws - I ended up having to prop the table up on a box with some books to the proper height to help me. Took maybe 1.5-2 hours, not counting distractions. Weight-wise, easy enough to shift around the home or lift up one side of the table on your own, "medium-weight" would be a good description in my opinion. A prior reviewer mentioned that where the manual tells you to line up the foam pads does not actually line up with where the tabletop actually makes contact (over the table legs), which also annoyed me - I ended up placing the pad sticky side up (and exposed/lining removed) directly over the table leg, and then bringing the tabletop down onto it to make sure that I had the coverage I wanted (see pictures for the "before" from following the manual, and the "after" from adjusting the pads to where they really should be). They do provide one extra foam pad if you mess up. They do provide clear table corner liners, but they look like they have adhesive liners in them and I wanted to avoid potentially damaging the table so I've actually been using the dark plastic ones that were on the tabletop corners for transportation purposes, without issues. My only slight buyer's remorse has to do with the color of the table - I wish they had a more espresso/dark brown color to better match the rest of my furniture (the black color reportedly smudges easily). However, the quality and functionality of the table more than make up for that. ... show more

Instructions were clear and I was able to set it up by myself in less than an hour. I love that the design is different from the other options at this price and the lift top can be set to go either forward or backwards (note: the direction of the lift top is screwed in so you canโ€™t lift it forwards AND backwards at the same time). It shuts quietly thanks to the provided padding and the hydraulic lift makes it easy to open and close. The height of the coffee table once lifted is higher than other options as well so if you are on the taller side like me, it works much better.     • OOPS won't deliver it

I have to put together the other table I ordered to see how it goes. However, the second table that was shipped separately never arrived. The UPS driver took a picture of bare ground for verification saying it was delivered. The box is heavy but not THAT heavy. And why it came on two trucks doesn't make sense. While the 4star review is not so much for the product itself, it is a warning if you order it, you might not get it, period. And I don't mean stolen, it wont be delivered. Assembled review of other table purchased. A couple of the steps weren't very clear and I had to guess but luckily it got together. I had to disassemble a couple pieces/steps to get the silver metal screw that inserts into the torsion button so that the surfaces meet. So be sure to tighten things like those spindles a little more but be careful not to break the wood. Once assembled it is beautiful, the natural/brown looks like it is a natural solid/hard wood with a good stain. Compared to one I saw in Costco that had babypoop color and was more expensive and didn't have drawers. So as long as you get the delivery you will love this table. It is annoying that OOPS chooses which packages it wants to deliver. It took two people about 1hr 40 min to assemble with mistakes/corrections. ... show more

This was exactly what we were looking for. It took me 2 hours to put together it may have taken less because I would stop here and there. Only time I did need a 2nd pair of hands was when I was putting the top on the table. It was also the most awkward part because it was little screws and it was hard to get them started without some extra light. I just used my cell phone to provide more light. I had no issues with the drilled holes. Everything aligned as it should. It is the perfect height. Is really sturdy. No issues with sliding the table top up or down. Stylish and practical. Especially great if youโ€™re short on space and need to work from home. Putting it together is a challenge for one old lady, but taking it one step at a time completed the task. A drill would have been very helpful but they supplied a screwdriver and everything you need (plus extra spare parts just in case) to complete the job. They even sho you the option to have the table lift in the other direction if you want the table facing you as well as the handy dandy drawers (which is what I did) and I love it. I got this table 2 days ago and finally got it together. I absolutely love it. It is sturdy and has lots of storage. I love that the top raises up. The only negative thing is the instructions to put the top together and get it in the right directions to raise could be a bit clearer.
