I bought this unit to use as a trophy display. It worked perfectly! The shelf itself is very sturdy, and it’s a great looking shelf. I really like the shelves themselves, they have small sides and back that prevents items from falling off, which to me is very desirable. Must mention the excellent instructions for putting it together! I did modify the shelves spacing to accommodate the height of the trophies easily, just by drilling new holes. Arrived damaged! Lots of major thick scratches throughout. Sadly I wanted this to work out. The color tone is really pretty, rich in color, on the cooler side, grey charcoal and on the darker side, which I like. I love that the shelves had framing on all 3 sides. This thing is very sturdy. It went together easy enough, and doesn’t wobble at all. I almost think the braces on the back are unnecessary. But I put them on anyways. My only qualm is… so many gosh darn pieces!! Probably close to 200 screws are needed to put it together. Worth it, but you’ll need about 2 hours to do it if you’re alone. ... show more
