This is my second review after assembling and changed from one star to five star. I like the looks and sturdiness of the bookshelves. They have a strap to attach to the wall so it won't tip. The materials DID include a second Allen wrench, and this one has the star tip on it needed for the shelves. The directions do not indicate when to use each Allen wrench, so we kept using the first Allen wrench used for legs for the shelves and that doesn't work. The directions do a good job of explaining what pieces to use for each piece; if they added a picture of the 2 different Allen wrenches on the section of directions next to the pictures of the pieces needed it would have helped. So far happy with purchase and would recommend.

This bookshelf is incredibly sturdy, easy to put together, and a good value. Despite what other reviews said I found it very easy to put together. I recommend reading the directions all the way through before starting as there are some things that are counter-intuitive - the placement of the screws on the final bar is the most confusing. It is incredibly sturdy, wood looks/feels high quality, and looks great in our living room. We might buy another.

Bookcase has a small footprint and mixed industrial/farmhouse style to it. Fairly easy to assemble with no missing parts and all pre-screwed holes accurate (amazing!) Seems sturdy with no wobbling or shakiness. Floor foot protectors adjust slightly - in case you have uneven floors you can adjust slightly so bookcase sits flush with floor. For the price I highly recommend.

I finally assembled this bookshelf now that the living room renovation is complete. It's a good shelf and quite sturdy. However, when you assemble it, make sure you have sufficient time, a power drill, and read the instructions very, VERY carefully. It took a total of 3 hours to assemble. Also, I needed the power drill because one of the holes wasn't properly drilled all the way through. Regarding the instructions, it does matter which side of the arms you attach the shelves onto. I realized I had them backwards and had to unscrew them all and redo that part of the assembly. But thank God, that ordeal is over with. If you can get through the assembly, I do recommend this, but only giving 4 stars instead of 5 for the involved assembly.

I bought this for my MIL's room in the nursing home to give her a place to display some photos, etc. We took it up there to assemble and probably could have done it at home and then laid down the seats in my SUV to transport. The assembly wasn't difficult but there were a few steps. In the end, the top shelf did not align with the holes to be able to insert the screws. The screws actually sit UNDER the shelf and the shelf rests on top of them. We are just going to add a nut to the underside and leave it as is rather than take the whole thing apart and try to return it. It serves the purpose and this isn't super noticeable. Still, for the price, it should line up and come together properly. I like the look of it, and it's a perfect size for what I bought it for. But it's definitely DIY-quality furniture.

All parts and hardware bags are labeled. Instructions are detailed but simple to understand. Hardware is quality (didn’t strip). Spare screws and dowel are included. Shelf is sturdy. Suggestions: 1 - Feet are hard plastic and could scratch hardwood floors; add felt feet stickers. 2 - Some part labels difficult to remove without leaving residue; use hairdryer during removal. 3 - Allen wrenches provided but assembly goes quicker with power drill and bit.
