I really like my bookcase don’t get me wrong, However the tool they provided to assemble it is very weak and started bending halfway through. Thank goodness I hired a professional to assemble it and he had a stronger hex wrench that he could use butHe could not use a drill and I had to do the whole thing by hand. It took almost 3 hours. The illustration is also confusing and he had attached three shelves upside down before he realized his mistake and had to re-assemble that whole bit. That said once it assembled it has plenty of room in a small space and he’s attractive. The edges that go up and give you extra support so the books don’t fall down. I like this shelf. Looks good, fits where I wanted it to, pretty sturdy. Putting it together was a pain in the neck! Now, I have assembled MANY pieces of furniture through the years, so I’m familiar with the process. The instructions for this piece were simple and I figured the whole process would take 40 minutes. Then, the allen wrench that was included rounded off during the first shelf. The one I got from my own set rounded off by the third shelf. I had the most luck using a star stapes screw driver I found in the bottom of the tool box. ... show more

These bookshelves are great for the space I have to work in. I especially love the small edges to keep things from sliding off the back or the sides and the hooks that allow me to hang cords off the shelf edge. I'm not done organizing so they look messy now, but I am excited to finish cleaning things up and really utilize the extra storage these shelves have given me. A plus is that they match my new desk and helps my area look well coordinated. I didn't appreciate the stickers marking each piece having such strong adhesive. They were very difficult to remove entirely as I was assembling. There is still adhesive residue remaining on the shelves- even after cleaning. The size is perfect for my space and usage requirements. I love how deep the shelves are, I was able to purchase some inexpensive fabric containers which fit perfectly on these shelves to organize my crafting supplies. ... show more

I needed a smaller lengthed/width shelf for our dining room. It fit the bill. I noticed some of the other reviews mentioned things didnt line up such as holes. There is a trick that often helps with that and it is don't tighten the screws that attach the legs and the shelves until you have all screws in. It will save you time and frustration. ... show more

Shelves assembled very well along with side supposed. Once I went to connect the shelves to the side, the screws would not go in all the way. I tried everything, being careful as to going in straight, giving myself a bigger hole to screw into, and just leaving it a little lose hoping the other side would be tight enough. Possibly mine was simply defective although I would not go through putting another one together to find out. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Assembled lovely in about 45 minutes with my 9 year old and i. Unfortunately by the time we were halfway through assembly the allen wrench had become entirely stripped and it is either metric or the other and one set has zero that fit and the other has one that fits snugly but pretty much perfect ... But it came from my hubbys tool drawer .... Maybe yall should send a tool that will complete assembly? ... show more
