I already had a Roku in the living room and decided to buy another when my my upstairs smart TV no longer supported most of my apps. The part that attaches to the TV is really compact so you barely notice it. I downloaded the Roku phone app and I can control both units with that if I misplace the remotes. I got this for my mom that's 80 and battling stage 4 lung cancer with no strength to get out of bed much. She does love tv so I thought she could save a lot of money and have much more options with Roku and the endless hours of TV without paying 130.00 a month for crap. She is having difficulty with remembering and found it to be too stressful to learn at this point so she feels bad because I meant for it to be something great for her..
