I bought this case a year ago, and I love it so much I had to come back and leave a review. Magnets are strong and they hold so nicely. I have started putting metal furniture and table pieces in my home to have more surfaces to mount to. It sticks to my work trucks exterior and my day drivers metal shell. I can use it to take selfies and group pics by attaching to nearby metal posts. I can make a phone stand out of anything. The possibilities are limited by your imagination only. It's durable, hasn't broken on me, and I've dropped it a lot. The one and only downside is that the s pen doesn't work around strong magnets. So when I need to draw I simply pop the phone out of the case, draw and then put the case back on. I highly reccomend this case if for nothing else but it's versatility! ... show more

This case is great to have in many situations due to the strong magnet on the back. The only complaint I have about the magnet is the placement towards the lower half of the case which causes your phone to slip and rotate if you are trying to place your phone in landscape against a metal surface. There is a quick fix for an extra $20. (Roklok plug) Straight from the companies main website you can order an extra magnet that takes the place of the locking mechanism at the top back of the case. So now you're $60 in after purchasing both items, and it just feels pricey for buying a phone case because it has a magnet. Still, I'm happy with the case and cant see using any other from this point forward. ... show more

This case is fantastic in all ways it is intended to be. durable. clean, but a little edgy. the magnet holds very well. The only drawback to this case is actually that specifically with this phone Note 20 Ultra, the magnet is so strong that it makes the pen basically useless for half of the screen. this was almost a deal breaker for me, but I really like the magnet feature (so much, I had made a temp solution with tape and magnets from the hardware store). I don't use the pen all that much, and the things i did it only takes a moment more to type in notes. Anyway, TLDR, I would recommend this case highly if you don't care about the pen. If the pen is a critical feature for you, I would look at a non-magnetic option. Side-Note: I have not yet used the Rok-Lok cam-lock system. it looks robust, but my review does not cover that feature. ... show more

Great case. Love this case. HOWEVER, s-pen will only work on top 1/3 of screen because of the magnets of the case. Buyer beware, if you actually use your s-pen, this is not the case you're looking for. If you want to be able to set your phone up on any ferrous metal, you can't beat this case.

I posted a review yesterday (it's not up yet), but I wanna retract it. I wanted this case to hold my phone on a metal surface. When I first tried it, phone wouldn't stay in horizontal position. The top would slide down under it's own weight. However I'm an idiot. I tried it on my refrigerator, and since it's slightly convexed, THAT'S why it didn't fully support the phone. I was not a fan of this mount coming from the x-grip RAM mounts. The downsides for me were that 1) you always had to have this case on which has a big hole in the back for the mount 2) I found it very hard to lock into the mount because you can never line up the tabs with the opening the first try, it usually take me a good 20 seconds fiddling with the thing to get it to mount (which doesn't sound like a lot but when you want to just mount your phone and go, you have to mess with this constantly an compared to the RAM mount which takes like 2 seconds to mount) 3) the adjustability was never good enough because of the design. I feel like it can adjust to as many angles as the RAM. 4) the case itself did not fit very good, with little effort the corners would pop off and it seemed too flexible 5) when trying to install the phone to the arm if you dont line it up perfectly you risk scratching the back of the phone because its just a hole in the back. If there was a barrier between your precious phone and the mount i would feel safer dust and dirt wouldn't get inside and scratch it. I returned it and opted for the trustee RAM mount.     • I wanted to love this, but....

Other than being single and looking for love in all the wrong places (remember that movie?!?), I really wanted to like this because of the quality and price (aren't good things supposed to be expensive?). I saw this was magnetic and wanted to get it since I have RAM mounts in my truck with magnetic plates. A few years ago, Spigen made a case that would allow for a metal plate inside the case - this was awesome for my use, but they don't make a style similar to this anymore, so I've been looking for a similar style for my phone. This seemed to fit the billet. The quality of the case is awesome. It is sturdy and I would think it would protect my investment (Galaxy S20 Ultra). I like that there isn't a flap to cover the USB port like others have (which can be a hassle to quickly plug in the cable) and that the side buttons don't protrude. What I don't like is that in the questions and comments, it's stated that the case would work with Samsung Pay (I think that response was from the manufacturer or vendor). I would assume this also means Androind/Google Pay. I didn't try Samsung Pay, but Google Pay does not work. I had to remove the case for it to work. The other issue I have is that the magnet on the phone isn't very strong. If I stick the phone to my fridge and put it on vibrate, it will slowly work its way down the fridge towards the floor. In my truck, it seems to work fine on city roads, but haven't had the opportunity yet to take it on improvised roads or off-road. I wish the magnets were N50+ neodymium magnets. They could give buyers the option of a cheap magnet, N50+ neodymium, or a steel plate. The cost, poor magnet, and lack of support for Android pay are why I rated this just 3 stars. ... show more
