  • Great Product
My go to googles for outdoor swimming. I have been using these for years and they generally last a bit and I rely on them for race day

  • EXCELLENT
Really liked how the glasses fit to the face and specially how they work in open water, they highlight all the necessary colors for open water swimming such as buoys and kayaks. Great option.

  • Lives up to Roka reputation
I've been out of the triathlon "game" for a few years, and Roka was a recent addition to the goggle lineup just before I took a break for family-building. Now that I'm ready to re-enter the sport, I took a look at what has changed in goggles....and the answer is, not much! I've used a few AquaSphere models, tried some Speedo models with extended field of vision (for use in open water as well as the pool) and figured I'd give the Roka ones a try. I'm not disappointed! Fit is great, goggle lines not too bad, anti-fog is some of the best I've seen. I was a little afraid of the reviews that indicate the slant of the lenses can be disorienting in the pool, but I didn't find this to be a problem, even when doing flip turns. The blue tint is perfect for indoors, mornings or overcast days, but I'd prefer a bit darker for bright afternoon swims- but I'd say it would be my go-to for 80% of my swims. The only tint I've found to be better-suited to more conditions is the light-sensitive one on Zoggs- that stuff was great! ... show more

  • The best googles I've found so far...
I've got a very pronounced forehead (or deep set eyes) and been having a really hard time finding goggles that don't leak, or cause pain in the eye sockets. The only thing that has really worked in the past was the Aqua Sphere Seal goggles which are pretty big and bulky. These Roka R1's, so far, fit the best, have the clearest optics, and are lowest profile of any goggle I've tried. The angled lens, although designed for open ocean swims, has been really great in the pool. They also last the longest without fogging. I don't think there's a goggle out there that's not going to fog. I'd buy a 2nd pair. ... show more

  • BEST SWIM GOOGLES!
These are the best swimming goggles I have tried in the last 3 years. Their fit is perfect, the clarity in the water is incredible, they don't fog up, and the sun protection allows swimming at midday without any discomfort from the sun. Excellent product in terms of cost-benefit ratio.

  • Not as good quality as described.
Disappointing. They started to fog after few use. The fitting can be tricky

  • Treat them well and they’ll go a long way
My first pair lasted a decent while, but I didn’t read the antifog thing - don’t touch the antifog! It would get foggy and blurry, and I realized I didn’t read the instructions not to touch or clean the interior. After I dropped this pair in the bay (RIP), I bought a second pair and they’ve been perfect for 6 months now. Just rinse off and put back in the pouch it came with. The fit is great, I don’t have to worry about fogging up. Pay a little more for quality goggles. ... show more

  • Terrible Seal; Broken After 6 Uses
Two OWS and four practice sessions at a competition pool and these goggles have failed. They were great the first three sessions and I absolutely loved them. The next two sessions, I noticed leaks and fogging. When I went to use them this morning, I noticed the seals had deformed. I keep them inside a protective sunglasses case once they're dry after use. I've never owned a pair of goggles that did this. I really expected more from a Roka brand and waited almost a month to get them. I'd avoid these until they sort out whatever this problem is with the deformation on the seal. ... show more
