For additional long-term comfort, this boot has a fully padded collar, and a (removable) extra thick PU Rocky Terra Suspension Footbed with Air Flow design. The GORE-TEX®compatible knit linings are breathable, soft and durable. Rocky boots featuring GORE-TEX® are guaranteed to be durably waterproof and highly breathable. Why. GORE-TEX®is made with a microporous membrane structure. Each pore is much smaller than a water molecule, but bigger than a water vapor molecule, which means no external moisture - from rain, snow, sleet or puddles - can penetrate the membrane, but internal moisture from perspiration can easily evaporate. So you can easily see why these are great shoes to wear while you are outside, enjoying the glory of Mother Nature. We've got you covered with grip too. The Outback rubber outsole provides long-lasting traction and stability on rugged terrain. It is stitched on for flexibility - and has been double stitched at toe and heel for durability.

These are the best looking 6in lace up boots I've ever worn. They look nice for around the town in jeans. Out of the box I could see they were well made and have a higher grade of lether than other boots. They're comfortable have excellent traction on wet surfaces, look great, nice and easy lace up system too. Only had a short time but barring an unlikely failure these are well worth the price. To nice for landscape work right now gonna wear lite duty awhile first. The toe box is slightly roomy but with size 13 that is pretty normal. The sole attachment looks hevy duty. My husband blows thru boots like its nobodies business so i it took me about 2 hours reading reviews on a ton of different boots and came across these. From the moment he put them on straight out of the box he loved them. He said they were the best boots he's had so far. He said usually boots are stiff till he wears them in but these were not. We went to visit my son in the military in New Mexico and he loved the look of them and tried my husbands pair on and could not believe how comfortable they were and said i would love a pair of those so I bought him a pair and they are by far his favorite boots. ... show more

I really like this boot for its fit, comfort and toughness, but Rocky really missed the mark when tanning the leather. They did an amateur job with the leather finish. These boots scar real easy and don't take polish well.

Finding good work shoes is very difficult and frustrating...I usually have to settle for like New Balance Tennis shoes etc. I am on my feet for 8-10 hrs a day. I was skeptical at 1st but ordered these hoping to finally find a decent work boot. When I received them I tried them on and wow right out of the box it was Love!!! They fit perfectly..very comfortable and plenty room in the toe box...I have Flintstone feet so the roominess was a plus ...its been close to a month and I put them to the test and so far they pass with flying colors...Durable..COMFORTABLE...well made and look great. Extremely Happy with my purchase and look forward to getting a 2nd set of boots from Rocky...you can’t go wrong with them. Update 4/12/21 .... I’ve had these boots for 1year3mos and these are superb still comfortable and extremely well made stitching is solid and material is top notch. I haven’t had to replace these as of yet. They may outlast the tires on my truck!!! I wear these 6 days a week for 8-10 hours a day I try to alternate between my other work shoes but these are too comfortable. I am a big Rocky fan, but these are not what I have come to know from Rocky. The heel area is very large, and although I purchased the same size I always wear, even the same size of my current Rocky boots, these are HUGE!. There is a hard spot where the foot bends close to the toes that is horribly uncomfortable. I tried to like them, I really did, but after 30-40 steps around my house, I knew these were not Rocky boots as I have come to know them. Going back and switching brands, unfortunately. ... show more
