Description

The Rocky BlizzardStalker PRO Waterproof Insulated Boot is an excellent snow boot, focusing on warmth, waterproofing and comfort. It's made with Rocky Waterproof construction to keep your feet dry. It also has split suede with 900 denier high-abrasion textile waterproof upper. These are among the warmest winter hunting boots with 1,200 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation to keep feet warm during outdoor treks and hunts. The BlizzardStalker helps your feet grip uneven, snow-covered or icy terrain with the multi-directional Blizzard outsole designed for excellent traction and stability. A removable mesh PU footbed allows air to flow with TPU heel stabilizer that helps keep your heel in place and provides additional support as you walk. Added comfort comes from the molded foam padded collar and a durable rubber vamp. Don't lose your stealth by getting the wrong boots. Rocky Waterproof construction insures the highest level of waterproof protection while maintaining breathability. Traditional insulation - typically felt or polyfill material offers a thermal barrier without the added benefits of premium insulations.

Love the feel and they definitely do keep your feet warm in 6°F weather one thing to know about these boots. They do run big so you can fit thick fluffy socks so if you’re a size 10 1/2 get an 11. and these have a very good traction on light pottery snow an OK grip on ice. Because we all know not much really grips ice seem to be well built. I’ll be wearing these boots for the next six weeks for a trip in the Arctic. I will update this review. At the end of this trip and I’ll definitely give you a real good idea of how well they work. ... show more

  • Sturdy built
Size: 7 Color: Brown
Plenty of room for thick socks. Wears heavy and clunky but is expected with 1200 gram insulation. Should work well for very cold weather. Comfy and supportive. The old pair I had wore out after 15 years of use in the cold and were just as heavy but durable. I expect these to last just as long.

  • Like others have stated before me
Size: 8 Color: Brown
Like others have stated before me, these boots do run large. I got a size down from my usual size 9 and they're still a touch big. They fit perfect once I double up on socks so it's not that big of a deal. That aside, the warmth these things provide is amazing. I was expecting the majority of the warmth to be focused in the foot portion of the boot, but the shaft is remarkably well-insulated and keeps my shins toasty. The shaft on these boots is slightly tilted forward, though, which makes for an awkward gait at first but it gradually breaks in. Prior to purchasing these, I owned a pair of Sorel Caribous for seven years that finally bit the dust. These are infinitely warmer and more comfortable than the Sorels ever were and I'm impressed by their waterproof qualities so far. I waded through ankle deep water and I didn't feel a damn thing. One notation I would make is that you should invest in some longer than usual socks. Crew boot socks don't really work with these as the interior cuff is rather scratchy and uncomfortable on your calf with extended wear. I'll update my review if anything major changes, but so far, these are tough-as-hell looking/feeling and should last me through many brutal Minnesota winters. ... show more

  • Best ever after 2 yrs.
Size: 10 Color: Brown
I’ve had these boots for 2 yrs now and all I can say is they are the best cold weather boots I’ve ever had. From working on frozen concrete all day to stalking in the woods at the coldest times. My feet don’t gat cold and they are comfortable for all day. And they aren’t as heavy as they look. Can’t say enough good about them. ... show more

  • Keeps feet warm but a little bulky
Size: 13 Color: Brown
First off I couldn’t be the price for these boots, it shocked me to find a very reasonable price for name brand hunting boots. I’ve used rocky boots in the past for work so I knew they would be of great quality. After sitting all day in the low teens during the morning my toes stayed warm the whole time. They fit perfectly and have lots of support, my one foot requires support and I had plenty! My only issue that I personally had is I use a climber tree stand and the boots are kinda big and bulky. I guess the trade off for having 1200 grain of insulation. That made it hard for my feet to fit into the straps to use tree stand. Other then that I can’t complain, I’d rather have that issue that have cold feet any day for it’s a good trade. I definitely recommend these for the everyday hunter ... show more

  • Have proven to be excellent for me.
Size: 12 Color: Brown
These Rocky MensBlizzard Stalker Pro Hunting boots are excellent for me. They are aesthetically appealing for a winter boot. I have a difficult time finding the right shoes/boots that are comfortable so I was relieved when I put them on and found them to be comfortable for me. After a few months of wear and tear in chilly environments on different types of terrain they have held up and maintained their comfort. I have found the Stalker Pro to keep my feet warm in some pretty cool temperatures i.e up to -10F. Keep in mind, in milder temperatures, lets say +30F and above, these boots WILL be very warm and may cause your feet to sweat. With Proper "wicking" socks and you should be alright. The waterproofing is still holding up as are the shoe laces. As a new purchase, these are a stiff and "clunky" (large) boot but over time, they will soften up. The clunky-ness....well....that pretty much doesn't change but you get used to it. To date, these have been great boots for cold temperatures while working outside and of course, walking in the woods. A final note.....when standing/sitting still for a while quite commonly expedites the chilling, freezing, coldness to one's feet. These boots have kept mine warm. ... show more

  • Hard to beat
Size: 11 Color: Brown
My previous pair has lasted 15 years and kept my feet warm/dry through all those Michigan winters. The only reason I ordered another pair is because the original ones finally cracked on the left inside arch. I patched them with flex seal and they will stay in my truck for emergencies.

  • Not for an old, sore body!
Size: 7 Color: Brown
Well,......they're warm, that's for sure. They do run a little big, so I'd suggest sizing down. The traction is good. However, those of you who have worked your entire life, are getting a bit older, and need a high quality boot because your knees, back, hips demand such, especially the knees....this may not be the boot for you. If you are one of those people I just mentioned and can't afford a $300-$500 boot, maybe these but you will definitely need to buy insoles for cushion. The sole is extremely stiff to where bending and stooping is uncomfortable. I knew better than to buy these. But, if you're young they may work for you. Then again, if you are young, take care of your feet and buy the best boot you can afford to buy. ... show more
