At first, I was a little nervous about buying a coffee table on Amazon, but it turned out great! I was able to assemble it all by myself in about 30 minutes. It matches my entertainment center perfectly. And it's fairly sturdy! It's the perfect size for my smaller apartment living room too. The lift-top is a teeny bit hard to pull up, but I'm sure it'll loosen up a bit over time. Overall, 100% happy with this purchase.

I assembled mine with wood glue for all the wood pegs. As a result, it's pretty sturdy. It arrived with minor scuffs in the thin laminate wood grain sticker, but they provide a black marker to cover up the blemishes which actually worked fairly well to hide them. I was disappointed with the range of motion in the lift top mechanism. It doesn't come up and out enough and I find that in order to use this as a surface to eat from, I have to sit on the edge of the couch. A better mechanism would have longer arms and come up and toward you farther. Also, the lift top mechanism blocks access to the center cubby from the couch, so you can't keep anything in that section that you'd want to get to when seated. To get to anything in there, you'd have to have the top raised and then get up to grab whatever it is you need and then sit down. Not a big deal, but something that could have been avoided if this were designed with a little more consideration to the end user. Assembly was pretty straightforward and won't be difficult for anyone who's assembled boxed furniture with those camlocks before. Oh, and one more minor disappointment, the three cubbies underneath are not large enough (height or width) for those collapsible fabric storage cubes, so if you want to store anything under there and keep it tidy, you'll need to take measurements and find some wicker baskets or trays or something.

Perfect for an office/guest room. I use it as a desk and it’s perfect height for sitting on the futon and getting some work done. Wasn’t too bad to put together, the lift top came pre-assembled which I appreciated! Knocked off a star because a corner came damaged, not sure if it’s poor packaging or the delivery person. The edges of the top are also a bit scuffed, but it’s cheap, I don’t expect real wood and top quality. They know that too since they included a black marker to color in the scuffs, which is nice.

Arrived with one of the side pieces broken but I was able to fix it. The product looks great and was easy to assemble. I, a single 32 year old female, was able to set it up by myself in about an hour. One thing to note is that it has very sharp corners on the top of the tables. I’m glad I don’t have any kids in the house or I would be concerned the kid could be injured by the corners. Overall, I recommend since it is great for the price.

Fairly easy to assemble myself, the storage under the lift-top is a little shallow but it still works for our smaller living room! No broken, missing, or damaged parts in the packaging. A little heavy to move, making cleaning a little difficult. Probably going to get the table leg sliders for carpet, hopefully that will help. All in all a good purchase for the price!

It was meant to be a coffee table from my husbands office. My early Christmas gift to him. I said oh, but it looks a little more yellow as you can see in the picture it doesn’t match up the old oak looking floor. Also the cams did not match up on one side. No matter how I shimmy the pieces together and the cam locks are aligned with the screws. When I tried to re-position it to one side, the “wood panels“ cracked up like brittle crackers. As you can see in the picture, I had to patch up the cracks with plasti- wood. Will have to repaint it. Had to reinforce it with screws and REAL wood Which I had to stain to match. All this happened as I was 98% from completion. This level of difficulty for a project that normally takes me an hour to put together, became the whole weekend because I had to patch things up, glue the split panels up with liquid nails and clamped them together, allow them to cure, then I can patch up the seizures, and I will have to come back to repaint. For the screw heads that I need to hide, I had to buy screw cap plugs that match the wood design. Lots and lots of work. For a supposedly easy thing that I set out for. I hope nobody touches this and it’ll come apart. Such an embarrassment
