This media stand requires 2 people for assembly but I got the job done by myself and I'm 69! Just lay the parts out in alphabetical order and follow steps. Once you get the first module assembled the other 2 go pretty fast. I haven't connected them yet, waiting to see how I want to arrange it in the room. Job took me about 3 hours to complete. This stand was exactly what I was looking for in the rustic look. Assembly was pretty easy, and can be done by one person. Probably had it together in an hour. I bought it because I knew my AV receiver would fit in it. Most of these cheaper TV stands don’t design the shelves to hold a surround receiver. This one holds everything perfectly, with plenty of cooling space. I’d give it 5 stars, except it was missing the shelf peg holes on the back of the right side. It won’t have anything heavy on it, so not a big deal on that front, but I was disappointed. I’ll probably end up drilling my own hole there. Still, it’s a solid piece of furniture for the price.
