Review after (10 years of use.) Purchased in 2014 An honest review by a person who: "Uses things, as they should be used." After almost 7 years of heavy use on international flights, with various connections. And further, the severe "wear and tear" inflected from ground connections (Taxi's, Buses, Metros) at various countries. I can personally say that "This is a Good Purchase, that you would not regret !" Definition: (Heavy use on international flights= I define it as at least, but not limited to; 4 International flights per year Round Trip, with at least 2-3 connections per Trip.) This Luggage has proved to be a great value for the price purchased and has been extremely reliable and durable at airports that are not delicate with luggage. Both pieces are lightweight and manageable for the solo-traveler. The material protects its contents very well and is durable from moments of rainfall. It has never cracked/broken, as other luggage brands of similar material and dimension. The luggage handles are fully functional after 10 years of use, the zippers are still functional, the rubber hinges are now showing signs of deterioration/worn; yet functional enough 30% to travel-with. All wheels and handles are attached and 100% functional. Fair cosmetic condition, given its history and age. I will be repurchasing another as a replacement. I highly recommend as a good investment, as it has proven its quality and value. Good inexpensive luggage, airport luggage employees toss these bags around beating the heck out of them, we'll see how long it lasts. Recent set I purchased cost $325 for same size and they broke after first trip flying from west coast to east coast, not under warranty week old because damages was caused by airport employees dropping

Have taken a few trips with these and they have survived the airline industry. I like the fact you can roll them upright or tip them to pull behind you. Only negative is that one of the zipper pulls broke off but I can attribute that to baggage handing at the airport. I got some replacement pulls on Amazon and problem solved.

2 Adults and 4 children, we're going to Florida in a week and I realized I don't have any suitcases. So I panic bought these despite the lack of reviews, a majority of them seemed to be positive. I can tell you sincerely I am not disappointed. 1. The price is well below the average price for a hard shell suitcase let alone 2 so I was skeptical but everything seems great so far. 2. The Quality, everything seems to be well made, when buying anything underpriced I always worry about Zipper quality because that really makes or breaks the product but these seem to be durable and well built. The wheels looked a little flimsy in the photos but hold up in person very maneuverable in an upright and tilted position. 3. The cons. I fully inspected these because of the low price looking for a reason they were so cheap. The only flaws I could find were a small peice of fabric from the outside lining had a lose string and the roller handle is a little flimsy but I've never dragged a suitcase that isn't. Both bags even came with a Zipper lock. They are advised as light weight but i wouldn't say there is a noticeable difference between the weight of these and a standard suitcase in the same category. I would 100% buy these before the price goes up.

Defective. Two elements broke during first attempted use - the outer casing cracked almost immediately, and the side plastic panel alongside the zipper cracked and started pulling apart. I am so disappointed, as is my child for whom this was a Christmas gift. I tried to contact the company directly, but no "contact us" information is available on the website. The company website simply links to the company store on Amazon, so you cannot get in touch with an actual rep from the Rockland company. I am returning as defective and fully expect a refund. If a refund is rightfully issued, I will revise this review to reflect at least some level of customer service. We ordered 3 of these sets and the other 2 sets have done just fine. The pink larger suitcase is the one that appears to have had some manufacturing defects, so perhaps it was that specific manufacturing line that had a problem.
