The owl pattern is so cute! The colors are vibrant. I had a suitcase like this once, except larger. I had it for 20 years or so. I'm just getting new. The main thing is the tipping over. Because I had one of these for so long, I just grew accustomed to turning it around and leaning it against the wall or something. It's compensating for the flaw. But I can overcome it because I like the luggage. I roll outfits together and it fits better when I pack. You smooth it out with your hands as you roll it and it prevents the items from getting wrinkled. It's also a space saver. It certainly saved space in this suitcase! You wouldn't think it could hold this, plus more. I even added my pillow. It's very soft and squishable but even so. It fit with no problem. Just in case, I expanded the side that unzippers. That works beautifully as well. About the zippers: it's all new so they do stick a bit. You have to be careful or you're going to break them. But once they loosen up they'll be fine. You can put some rosin or something on it, if you care to. The small bag, which really isn't that small, fit doggie supplies including: several pee pads, "just in case" diapers and two doggie dishes. I also fit other miscellaneous things inside. Plenty of room! In order to keep it attached to the other suitcase, I took the shoulder strap and wrapped it around to the other side. It holds it tight. However, this does lend itself to the tilting issue. But when you're rolling it around it's very easy. It actually went right over the bottom ledge of the doggie gate with no problem. This isn't made to be roughed up. It's not super delicate, but it is material. I had no problem with the telescopic handle. It came intact and worked fine. I love it! ... show more

I purchased this two years ago for my niece to take to summer camp. She is getting ready to go on her third camp with it. Not to mention the countless times she has used it for sleepovers. It hasn't faded, the wheels, handles and straps are still in great condition. It's very durable. She is going on 12 years old so she hasn't always been careful with it. The color is bright and still nice. They hold a lot. She is able to pull the one on wheels around very easily. I am very pleased with this purchase and actually have another one of the matching pieces on our favorite list to get in the future. ... show more

It’s a nice luggage set. I chose this luggage set for my three day trip to Las Vegas because of the affordable price. It’s not high quality but it’s practical. My luggage set came with the bottom stand crooked and the sewing areas not perfect. I really do love the turquoise color that I got. The color is very vibrant. I also love the zip-up pockets and the inside mesh pocket on the carry-on suitcase. My favorite part about this carry-on suitcase is that it comes with a tiny lock and two tiny keys for it. And the one thing that I really don’t like about the carry-on suitcase, is that when it has anything inside of it, it can’t stand up by itself. It always just falls over and it falls over constantly, which is super frustrating when your hands are full and you can’t let the handle of the carry-on suitcase go to push the elevator’s button because it will fall over forward to the ground. And for the small tote bag, I like that it is collapsible and that you can flatten it when you’re not using it for storage purposes, like storing it inside the carry-on suitcase. The only downside to that is it’s not as sturdy and stable as you’d like it to be, especially if you only put a few items inside of it. I was able to fill the small tote bag with my personal items and toiletries to the top, so it was stuffed and thus, sturdy and stable for the duration of my trip. I am not much of a traveller. I haven't been on a plane in several years. I have watched TV segments of how chaotic airports can be, the long check- in lines, the luggage debacles and even the nasty and sometimes scary episodes of passengers on a plane. I doubt if I ever choose to fly again, but after retirement, I plan on taking fairly short jaunts in my car. When I got out my luggage, I realized how bulky and heavy it was. And no wheels on any of it. I knew I was really behind the times. I thought it is time to get some new luggage. I searched on Amazon first. I found exactly what I wanted and at a sale price. The dark purple was as pictured and it was really pretty. And it had wheels, which I had never had before. This luggage seems to be of good quality. It is lightweight with two small zippered pockets on the outside and a large zippered mesh pocket on the inside. It has two straps to hold your clothes down so they don't get jostled around. The smaller bag will hold my make-up and possibly an extra pair of shoes. It zips with a velcro closure to hold the handles together along with a shoulder strap. If you arecfkying it is the perfect size for a carry-on and will fit comfortably in the overhead compartments. Most women would probably think this is not big enough for their travel needs. But since I will only be taking overnight or weekend trips, it will be great. I have found in the past that when I do take short trips and I am going to be driving, I take several tote bags, more shoes than I need and more clothes than I need. I know I do it simply because I have the space. But I thought it would be less frustrating to cut back on the items I take. Now I will carefully pick out a few outfits, rather than a whole week's worth. I always think I might need them, but you know what I never do. Sometimes less is more. I always found myself wasting time trying to decide among many outfits which added more stress. So with these 2 pieces, it will take less time packing, less time dragging a bunch of luggage to my room and take up less space in my car. Nowadays it is not good to leave anything in your car even if it is locked. I want to enjoy my time away and not make it a luggage chore. I did look at the hard shell luggage as well, but since it won't be stored in the luggage compartment of a plane, it wasn't necessary to spend the extra money. So if you want a nice 2 pc set of luggage for those short overnight trips, this is for you. You also have the option of buying 4 pc sets as well. So happy traveling and enjoy! ... show more
