I just got back from Europe where I used this as my carryon for a two leg flight with multiple train trips. I dragged it on and off multiple busses and through some of France's busiest metro stations. It made it back in one piece and nothing inside was damaged. Checked it for the flight home. It was really a good test. The single interior compartment is flexible and large and expands to hold a lot of stuff. Zipper, handle, wheels all held up. So five stars for that. However here are the issues: 1. No matter how I packed it, it seems front heavy and was thus prone to tipping over. My other carry on is a clam-shell type and doesn't have this problem. It may be inherent to the design. 2. I bought it in bright orange for visibility which worked but unfortunately any dirt really shows up and it came back looking pretty marked up. I think I will try to clean it and keep it for domestic travel and car trips. I will continue my search for the perfect affordable carry on and hope for better luck before our next trip abroad. ... show more

We ordered the Teal spinner and loved it. Lightweight and very sturdy. Used many times and still like new. After some time we ordered the same size in purple. But it turned out to be taller. Although it was lightweight it was more flimsy than our first one. Particularly the wheels and extended handle didn’t feel sturdy. Packed this very carefully, only put paper work in the front pocket, but the balance when filled is appalling. Tipped over several times. It did survive two cross Atlantic trips, several NYC subway rides, a number of London Underground Journeys and two long train trips and is still intact though, so a reasonable bang for the buck. ... show more

The case is 19" but over all it is closer to 22"---too big to chance for a carry on. Seems lightweight, easy to maneuver, but it is going back as I don't want to chance having to check it
