Haley the rocking horse is very cute. I gave it as a baby shower gift for a couple that doesn't know if their baby is a boy or a girl and with a western themed baby shower. It received many oohs and ahhs. Our Haley's saddle stirrups are uneven, but still very cute. I hope they wouldn't be dangerous for the little one. The saddle itself doesn't lie perfectly smooth, but probably just needs to be sat on a few times. I think it might be better without the saddle, but it does give it a more western touch and it's not removable. I pulled some of the mane and tail "hair" free from the seams and it was even better. The coat is short very soft plush that should be fairly easily spot cleaned. The ears were a little flat when I first unpacked the horse, but they were easily reshaped.The assembly was very easy. My husband added little wooden plugs over the screws which he thought gave it a better finished look. I ordered "used" from the warehouse and it was a new item with just minor damage to the inner box with the contents not damaged at all. I cannot tell how durable the horse will be but it feels very sturdy and I would expect it to be up to lots of loving from this lovingly expected child for several years to come. It certainly looks cute in their nursery!

My grand daughter love this Rocking Horse constantly playing on it I was little disappointed with saddle because stirrup is tacked in solid place n child foot can easily slip through stirrup getting hung up n could get hurt if not closely monitored I ended up just removing stirrup completely

Purchased as a birthday gift for my grandson. Excited when I first took it out of the box. It was so cute. Loved the gallop & neigh sound it made when button on the ear was pressed. Reviewed the instructions for the quick & easy assembly. Put a birthday bow around its neck & put back in the box for the 220 mile trip to the barnyard themed birthday bash with pony rides & petting zoo. Upon arrival, I took it out of the box to assemble only to discover that the legs & anchoring posts were not aligned with the holes in the rocker. I could not secure the horse to the rocker. The horse was seen by my grandson, friends & family only to be put back in the car for return trip & return shipping. Soooo disappointed!

I didn't realize before I bought this that it's from China, which explains a lot. I saw some people on here got sloppily made ones but just as many praised the quality of the ones they got so I was willing to give it a shot. The horse itself looks okay... Some of the seamwork is visible so I worry about the stitches coming loose when my wild child starts to manhandle this thing. All of my hardware and pieces arrived in the box at least, though a couple nuts for the bottom of the feet were loose inside, not bagged up with the other hardware, which would have been bad if they had slipped out. The pre-made marks for the screws were not aligned. We had to make our own. The saddle is a cheap one-ply fake plastic leather that slides all over the place but is tacked down in one spot on each side so I have a feeling it would tear the fabric if I tried to take it off, which I would almost rather do than keep it on. Our particular stirrups look longer than the photo, they dangle almost all the way to the base. And considering they are attached by a thin strap to the already flimsy saddle, I can already bet they won't stand up to actual use if my child decides to put her feet in them. Less major but still annoying is that when they put the harness strap around the head, it got sewn down so it's twisted on one side. Daughter probably won't notice but it's slowly driving me crazy looking at it. I'm sure my 2 year old will love it in all of its cheap glory, even if it ends up ruined to the point that we have to take it off the rocker and make it a glorified corner statue in her playroom. Won't know til after Christmas how it holds up, but I give it a month...

Easy to assemble, should be ok for my 2 year old . It is a little on the small size . I think my 2 year old will out grow this after 1 year. I will have to buy a bigger one
