    • Exactly what I needed
I was running Infinity Reference 5.25 speakers and they just did not have enough on the low end for a full sound. With these Punch speakers, I get more crisp bass. Enough to get me to purchase 2 more sets to finish my rig.

The design of the product looks very high end. The sound is crisp and you can adjust to your liking and it all sounds good. Had it in my car for a while and it still works and holds up. Good quality and easy to install.

I've owned a variety of Rockford Fosgate equipment over the past 30yrs. I will forever miss my original punch 45 that was stolen many years ago. I needed to replace the front speakers in my 1987 BMW 325i convertible. The rear speakers had been replaced at some point with 5 1/4 punch's. At first the speakers sounded super crisp. My concern is not a fault in the manufacturing but buying a used product. At first the speakers appeared in excellent condition, I thought they were an open box. Upon closer examination I noticed the cosmetic blemish. It appeared as though someone while installing the speaker had solder splash onto the speaker under the tweeter. I definitely looks like solder. I decided to install them anyways because the return policies. A week after install the speaker started to sound different. I will remove and examine them when I have a moment. Back to the speakers, they sound great with the sony head unit I have them hooked up to. I agree with another reviewer who suggested using the head unit over another amp, don't over power. . I was going to add a sub but I am satisfied with the bass . mounting options are awesome. Rockfords have always proven to be a solid speaker and these are no different. ... show more

I installed a 4 of these in the ceiling of my 25 foot motorhome to use for music and for our home theater system, replacing the (only 2) original equipment speakers. These little Rockford Fosgate speakers sound so fantastic in comparison. Paired together with my compact Blaupunkt powered subwoofer they faithfully reproduce the the entire audible sound spectrum. ... show more
