    • must have if you have only one usb header on motherboard
motherboard only had 1 usb 2.0 header that was occupied by a fan controller. got this little thing and now i have 4 headers available. so far it has worked well. my only negative is the blue lights are bright but that can be solved by tucking somewhere it wont be seen in the case.

    • Works, but adhesive gave out in just a couple weeks
It does just what I needed it to do - expanding my internal USB headers. However, the adhesive tape that is applied to the back of the PCB for mounting is very thick. I was thinking of mounting on the back of the motherboard tray, but that extra thickness would have been a problem when a USB plug is inserted and trying to slide the back panel closed. So, I ended up attaching to the side of the hard drive tray. I made to to clean the metal surface before peeling the covering on the tape and attaching it - and that is working well. However, the side of the tape that attaches to the PCB is coming loose. That side is pre-applied when received. It looks like it will come off so I can find some new adhesive. But, the part I stuck on the metal drive cage will be hard to get of. They should provide the tape separately so the user can ensure it is attached properly and to give the user other options for attaching it. ... show more

    • Has an annoying LED
Bas this obnoxiously bright led on it. I had mine installed in a visible part of the PC case, and the only way to turn off the led was to shut down the oc by holding the power button. Windows shutdown doesn't turn it off. Very annoying. Otherwise, works really well.

Really liked this solution. Able to adhere usb header extension cards near existing motherboard usb headers. I appreciate the LED lighting on the extension cards and the PCB color matches my ASUS board, so it looks like the extensions came preinstalled. One drawback (Adhesion)... The 3M foam double sided tape did not cover the back of PCB completely (only 97%) as seen in the illustrations. It ended up detaching after roughly 2wks. ... show more
