Bought these when I realized I didn't have any good shoes to take to the beach. I'm so glad I picked these. They are comfortable and well-made with a thicker/softer sole than most flip flops and the wide fabric band makes for a secure fit. I wore them several time on our trip and we did a lot of walking. Very comfortable and I'm on my 3rd pair. I've worn these same ones for years, my 1st pair were used and given to me, I wore them for years until my dog poked her nail through them so I ordered a pair from Amazon, the 2nd pair took a bit to break in but lasted 6 years,I actually still have them they just got paint on them so I bought this pair and I've already broke them in. I truly love these and they are my go to for around the house and yard work as well as to the beach and around our pool. They don't cause blisters and the color doesn't fade, great arch support and very comfortable and functional.

Very cushy and soft. Starts forming to your foot within hours of wear since the soles foam is so soft which offeres awesome support! Extremely true to size as I'm always an 8 and my toes are almost off the sandal. I may size up next time I buy some if I even have to as these are very sturdy. I bought these specifically cause my mom had these when i was growing up and she still has them today and I'm 28. I'm really hoping these will hold up the same way. So far they seem identical. I understand why some people say they're slightly slippery but after wearing off the soft coating on the bottom of the shoe it gets a bit better. Only thing I wish was different is the width for the toes I think if it was just a tiny bit wider I wouldn't feel the need to reccomend potentially sizing up.

I love everything about these flip flops except for one MAJOR problem... these shoes have some kind of adhesive material on the bottom that starts out feeling like felt. Who wants soft felt on the bottom of their shoes? The second you step onto hardwood floors, linoleum, garage floors or any other smooth surface, your feet start to slide out from underneath your body! If the wearer is not prepared or careful, they could easily fall, like I did! I found a rough surface and did "the twist" for a minute or two, in an attempt to roughen up the soles & give them a little traction. Makes sense, right? Well, unfortunately, that only worked for a few hours because once this felt-like adhesive was roughed up, it started to peel off in patches! Occasionally, I would look down at my feet and see scraggly pieces of black material that reminded me of wet dog fur! On one scary occasion, a piece of this peeling mess got caught on my gas pedal while I was driving! Thankfully, I was able to rip it free fairly easily. If these flip flops had a safe, rubber sole, I would love them!
