    • Excellent comfort for a dude
Style: Mtb
I wear padded biker shorts but was looking for a little extra cushion - at a certain age, dudes lose a lot of padding back there - and so I started looking for seats. The local shop wanted over seventy bucks for a seat, and I wasn't impressed by any of them. A coworker got a wider version of this seat for his e-bike, and I was intrigued. I looked to see that there are three different versions, and I chose the mid-size version. It's at least an inch narrower than the one he got, which puts it in good proportions for a mountain bike. He later tried the slimmest version and said it was too firm, but after one ride on my bike he ordered one of these. Right away when I hopped on my bike after installing this seat, I felt like I was gliding on air. I know, that sounds corny, but I was actually blown away at how good the seat felt. The elastomers *do* help a bit, too. If you're a dude just looking for a little more cushion but don't want some fat saddle that looks like you're going the therapeutic route, then this one won't disappoint. ... show more

    • comfortable and well built - MTB model seat
Style: Mtb
Back from first 35 mile ride. Works for my rear-end, but everyone is different. Nice padding and quality. So, for $20 I am happy. I like the product and bought the MTB model and placed it on my road bike. Yes a road bike, my seat is more important than 16 ounces of static weight.

    • Not perfect but a great seat

Good size with very plush padding. The relief cut out is wide but could be longer up the nose. Also the 'shock absorber' on the underside is unnecessary and adds weight. Overall great.

    • Night and day difference from my G.1 stock saddle.

The difference in comfort from my stock saddle was noticeable the second I sat on it. Felt like complete night and day difference. I was a little worried the MTB one would be a too bulky and debated getting the racing one but it's actually a lot more sleek than it looks in the photos. Also pretty easy to install and adjust. I'll see how it holds up over time but first impressions are great. An update: I did end returning this one since I decided I wanted a longer seat and went with the racing version. When I took it off the bike I did notice a part was starting to tear a bit after only a week of use. They’re both really nice seats and I think Rockbros makes good products so hopefully it was a fluke. We’ll see. ... show more

    • comfortable

This seat is very comfortable. It does not soak up water when my bike is parked in the rain. Installation was easy with the tools that were supplied.
