Wow this hobby horse is a show stopper. Ita incredibly well made. Clean stitch an very realistic eye. The bridle is real leather. The wooden stick is smooth and sealed so there will spliters. The stick can be unscrewed for easy storage. The horse itself is velvety and super soft and the ears are made of the same material but built to stay up and not flop over. Best part of all is the hair does not shed or fall out. Its secure and looks beautiful. Our is black and the color is incredibly acurate to the photo. Darkest black with a white nose. This would make a great gift for an older kid. The real young ones might have a hard time with the weight. Its made quality so it is a little too heavy for a toddler

The horse head is densely stuffed, but still soft. The fabric is also soft to touch. The stick itself is totally smooth and screws in securely - the joint is covered with a fabric sleeve and has not come loose during play yet. Stitching and construction look great. The yarn for the mane is thick and well attached. I did take the bridle off pretty quickly since my toddler stepped on a metal part and cried for a second after. I ordered the dark brown color and it's just a little lighter colored in person. Overall, the toy feels like great quality and something that will last years and could be passed down.

My daughter is 2, so she hasn’t fully figured out the whole “pretend riding” part yet, but she still loves it. She carries it around, plays with it, and it definitely keeps her entertained. The quality is actually really good, which was important to me. It feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap at all, so I can tell it’s going to hold up as she gets a little older and starts using it the way it’s intended. Not worth the price tag. My son is obsessed with animals, particularly farm animals. I thought he’d love to pretend to ride horses. He has one of the common $20 ones you get from Walmart. I will say this little horse is much better made and the details far exceed the other one. I just don’t believe it’s worth the hefty price tag. First, the “riding pole” is quite short and second, it doesn’t do anything. It’s just a pretend horse. His cheaper one at least has sound effects when you press the ear. Not this one.

This is a good quality toy and looks great. The head on the hobby horse is large and full of stuffing. It’s soft to the touch, but the head is firm. The bridal is long and easy to hold. It can also be easily detached. The pole screws onto the head and has material covering the connection. It stays tightened when playing. The main is made of soft yarn and it flows while jumping. A hobby horse is so much fun for kids, but adults can use them to have competitions too. We have a yearly hobby horse competition and the ribbon this comes with will be perfect to award to the winner.
