These skates are nice looking and the price was low. They are a bit bulky and stiff and do not come sharpened. They will definitely take some breaking in. Having loops to lace them with rather than actual metal eyelets makes lacing them tightly enough difficult. I hope they'll soften up and break down a little with time. I am typically between a size 8 and 8.5 in shoes. I ordered the size 8 skate and it is way too big. If a 7.5 option were available, I would have exchanged.
